JOB OVERVIEW

IMPORTANT: PREVIOUS U.S. INSURANCE INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED TO APPLY.

We are a growing U.S.-based life insurance agency looking for an experienced Insurance Agency Operations Assistant to help manage the day-to-day backend of our agency.

You must have previous experience working for a U.S. insurance agency, IMO/FMO, insurance carrier, or similar insurance organization. Life insurance experience is strongly preferred.

We need someone who already understands the basics of how an insurance agency operates and can help us manage:

• Agent production and performance tracking
• Commissions, payments, and chargebacks
• CRM management and reporting
• QuickBooks and financial tracking
• Agent onboarding and contracting
• Insurance licensing and carrier appointments
• State-by-state licensing requirements and renewals
• Agency compliance and required documentation
• Following up on missing documents and outstanding requirements
• Keeping accurate records for agents, policies, commissions, and chargebacks
• Making sure important deadlines, renewals, and compliance items do not fall through the cracks

We are looking for someone who is extremely organized, detail-oriented, good with numbers, and comfortable taking ownership of backend operations.

Experience with life insurance agency operations, NIPR, Sircon, carrier portals, insurance licensing/appointments, commission statements, chargebacks, QuickBooks, and insurance CRMs is highly valuable.
