# RFP / Government Proposal Writer

** ---------- | Government Contracting | Proposal Writing | Remote – Philippines**

**Starting Pay:** $3.50 USD/hour
**Hours:** 20–30+ hours per week
**Schedule:** 11 PM–3 AM PHP time to start. Additonal hours after training
**Workdays:** Monday–Friday U.S. days
**Location:** Remote – Philippines only

## About the Position

We are a growing U.S.-based company seeking an experienced RFP / Government Proposal Writer- CSR to support our federal, state, and local government contracting efforts.

Applicants must have **at least 2 years of direct experience working with U.S. government bids, RFPs, RFQs, or solicitations.**

You will help our team locate opportunities, analyze solicitations, prepare quotes and proposals, calculate material costs, complete required documents, track deadlines, and communicate professionally with customers and government contracting personnel.

## Key Responsibilities

* Search for government contracting opportunities through ** ---------- ** and other federal, state, and local procurement sources.
* Experience with **BidNet and GovWinIQ** is preferred but not required.
* Use **ChatGPT and AI research tools** to locate, research, and analyze contracting opportunities.
* Build and improve ChatGPT prompts for government opportunity research and solicitation analysis.
* Review RFPs, RFQs, IFBs, and other solicitations for eligibility, scope, specifications, deadlines, set-asides, delivery requirements, and compliance requirements.
* Determine whether opportunities are a good fit for the company.
* Assist with preparing customer and government quotes.
* Research and calculate material, manufacturing, shipping, and other project costs.
* Prepare clear, professional, and compliant proposal responses.
* Complete required forms, certifications, representations, attachments, and bid documents.
* Maintain an organized tracker of opportunities, bids in progress, submitted bids, deadlines, and results.
* Monitor Q&A periods, amendments, and solicitation updates.
* Update and create the company's **Capability Statement** as needed.
* Assist with **WOSB and other government certifications and registrations**.
* Use ChatGPT to assist with creating concepts, mockups, and basic designs when required.
* Answer customer messages, emails, quote requests, and other business communications professionally.
* Follow company templates, procedures, brand standards, and compliance requirements.
* Meet all proposal and submission deadlines.

## Required Qualifications

* Minimum **2 years of U.S. government bidding/contracting experience**
* Hands-on experience using ** ---------- **
* Experience reviewing and responding to U.S. government solicitations
* Strong written and spoken English
* Excellent grammar and professional business communication skills
* Experience writing proposals, RFP responses, RFQs, or government bid submissions
* Ability to read and interpret detailed government solicitation documents
* Strong research and analytical skills
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Experience using **ChatGPT**
* Ability to create effective AI prompts for research and business tasks
* Ability to use ChatGPT/AI tools to assist with basic designs and visual concepts
* Reliable high-speed internet
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Strong organizational and deadline-management skills



This is a **long-term position for the right candidate**.

* Starting pay: **$3.50 USD/hour**
* Salary/performance review after **90 days**
* Approximately **20–30+ hours per week**, based on workload
* Additional hours may become available as government contracts are awarded, potentially increasing to **up to 8 hours per day**
* Remote position for **Philippine-based applicants only**
* Work with both our Philippines-based and U.S.-based team
* Payment through **Wise**
* **Timeproof** time tracking required
* Daily timesheet required
* Employment/contractor agreement and **NDA** required
* Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential
