JOB OVERVIEW

We are a social media agency focused on creating viral short-form content, reels, and marketing content for businesses and brands.

We are looking for a talented part-time Video Editor & After Effects Specialist who can help us turn the footage and content we provide into high-quality, engaging social media videos.

A big part of our workflow will also involve AI video editing and AI-generated content. We will provide the footage, images, concepts, and/or AI-generated material, and your job will be to put everything together into a polished final video.

Your responsibilities

* Edit short-form videos and viral reels
* Work with footage and content that we provide
* Use AI tools and AI-generated video content as part of the editing process
* Combine different clips, images, animations, and AI-generated elements into one engaging video
* Fine-tune and improve videos using Adobe After Effects
* Create motion graphics, animations, visual effects, transitions, and other enhancements
* Add subtitles, sound effects, music, and other elements where needed
* Make sure the final videos look professional, engaging, and suitable for social media
* Take our raw materials and creative direction and turn them into finished content
* Make adjustments and improvements based on our feedback

What we’re looking for

You should be a very good video editor with strong Adobe After Effects skills.

Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:

* Adobe After Effects
* Adobe Premiere Pro
* DaVinci Resolve
* CapCut
* AI video editing / AI video generation tools

Strong After Effects skills are especially important. You should be comfortable taking an existing video and fine-tuning it with effects, animations, motion graphics, transitions, and other visual improvements.

We are not looking for someone who simply cuts clips together. We want someone who can take the material we provide and turn it into high-quality, engaging, viral-style social media content.

You should:

* Have a strong eye for detail
* Understand short-form social media content
* Be creative and have a good sense of pacing
* Be comfortable working with AI-generated video/content
* Be able to work independently
* Be able to follow instructions and creative direction
* Be open to feedback and revisions
* Have previous video editing experience
* Have a portfolio or examples of your previous work

About the position

This is a part-time position of approximately 10 hours per week.

We will provide you with the footage, images, concepts, and other materials. You will be responsible for editing everything together, adding the necessary creative elements, using AI where appropriate, and fine-tuning the final result in After Effects.

We are a growing social media agency and are looking for someone who can become a reliable, long-term member of our team. If the collaboration works well, there may be opportunities for more hours and more work in the future.

Please include your portfolio and examples of your best video editing work when applying. If you have examples of After Effects, motion graphics, or AI video editing work, please include those as well.
