JOB OVERVIEW

Senior Accountant | Australian Public Practice

We are an Australian accounting firm looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our remote team in the Philippines.

You must have:
• 2 to 3+ years’ Australian public practice experience
• Strong knowledge of Australian tax, GST, BAS and financial statements
• Experience with companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
• Strong Xero experience
• Experience reviewing junior staff work
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
• Strong attention to detail

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns
• Prepare and review BAS and IAS
• Review reconciliations and workpapers
• Identify and resolve accounting or tax issues
• Review and guide junior accountants and bookkeepers
• Manage jobs from start to finish
