JOB OVERVIEW

Role Summary:
We’re looking for a Video Editor with experience in the SaaS/tech industry to turn ideas and scripts into publish-ready video content.

This role is ideal for editors who bring professional maturity, marketing awareness, and creative initiative to every project.

⬇️What We’re Looking For
1. (Preferred but not required) Experience editing for SaaS/tech brands
2. Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts and how to tailor content to specific audiences and marketing goals
3. Proficiency with desktop editing tools like Capcut, Adobe Premiere Pro (bonus: After Effects or similar)
4. Familiarity with platform-specific formats and best practices (LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook/Instagram)
5. Initiative and creative thinking – you ask questions, flag issues, and suggest ideas
6. Ability to self-evaluate your edits and improve based on feedback
7. Collaborative mindset and comfortable working with marketing and content teams

? Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with the marketing team to produce videos showcasing software features and product updates.
2. Edit and produce videos for company collaborations and events: pre-event teasers, post-event recaps, highlight reels.
3. Create high-quality, engaging content for our current social media platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook).

?️ Skills & Qualifications
1. 2+ years of professional experience as a video editor, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
2. Proficient in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Capcut, or similar tools.
3. Skilled in:
-Keyframing for UI/feature demonstration
-Text overlays, subtitles, and motion graphics
-Audio mixing and sound sync
4. Understands platform-specific export settings:
-Aspect ratios, durations, resolution standards
-Optimization for LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Facebook/Instagram
5. Strong storytelling abilities – understands pacing and structure for social media attention spans.

1. Current Video Editing Needs : Tutorial / Workflow Videos (software walkthroughs, feature guides)
2. Near-Future Video Editing Needs :
-Event Recap & Highlight Videos
-Testimonial Videos
-Repurposing (long-form into short-form content, ---------- video to Facebook reels)
