We are looking for freelance webtoon typesetters to review and refine AI-generated multilingual webtoon typesetting.
Most of the initial typesetting is already completed by our AI system. Your role is mainly to review the generated result and make any necessary adjustments in Photoshop, such as text placement, sizing, spacing, and overall visual balance.
Because the AI handles most of the initial work, the editing workload is very light. One episode can typically be completed in less than 1 hour, depending on the episode and the amount of correction needed.
Please note that projects may involve 17+ content, so applicants must be comfortable working with such materials as part of the production process.
Responsibilities:
- Edit AI-generated webtoon typesetting in Adobe Photoshop
- Compare the target-language typesetting with the English source webtoon
- Adjust text placement, line breaks, size, spacing, and alignment for readability and visual balance
- Avoid covering important artwork, character faces, expressions, or other key visual elements unnecessarily
- Maintain consistent text sizing, placement, and overall presentation throughout each episode
- Follow provided typesetting guidelines and manager feedback accurately
Requirements:
- Adobe Photoshop is required
- Experience with Photoshop text editing and layer-based PSD workflows
- Strong attention to detail and visual balance
- Ability to follow provided references and production guidelines accurately
- Good English communication skills
- Reliable delivery and ability to work independently
- Comfortable working with 17+ webtoon content
Preferred (Optional):
- Previous experience with webtoon, manga, comic, or localization typesetting
- Experience working with multilingual content
- Familiarity with speech bubbles, SFX, narration, and dialogue layout
- Experience handling layered PSD files
Work Details:
- Freelance / Remote
- Flexible working hours
- Long-term collaboration available
- English source webtoons, AI-generated target-language versions, PSD files, and detailed production guidelines will be provided
- Work is completed in Photoshop and submitted according to the project workflow
Payment:
- $3 per completed episode
Selected applicants will be asked to complete a short unpaid typesetting test before final onboarding.
