I’m Zhad, an Australian Twitch streamer making IRL and Desktop entertainment, challenges and social content. I’m looking for a reliable freelance editor for ongoing, straightforward stream-to-YouTube edits.
I provide the start and end timestamps for each segment. The segment usually starts with my recorded “Hi YouTube” introduction and contains 1–2 hours of footage, occasionally up to 3 hours. You do not need to search entire streams to find a video idea.
Your job:
- Cut dead time, unnecessary repetition, technical interruptions and parts that do not add entertainment or context.
- Keep the video flowing naturally. Preserve the setup and payoff of jokes and conversations.
- Blur the chat area for the first two minutes of the finished video.
- Add my supplied Twitch follow overlay at the beginning, following the supplied reference.
- Export and deliver an upload-ready YouTube video.
- Finished videos will generally be 15–40 minutes, with a maximum of 1 hour. Do not add filler to reach a duration; flag if a shorter edit works better.
This role does not require short-form clips, full-video subtitles, new graphics, music, thumbnails or elaborate effects. Good judgement, understanding conversational English/Australian accents, and reliable delivery matter most.
Pay: A$50 AUD per completed video, including the agreed edit and one minor revision round. Please confirm this rate works for you for the stated scope. Flag whether occasional 3-hour segments fit this rate before accepting work. We agree any exception before editing begins.
We will start with one paid video at the same A$50 rate. If we work well together, I would like an ongoing arrangement. Weekly volume will be agreed; this is freelance, per-video work, not a full-time salary or guaranteed number of projects.
Please include:
- One or two relevant YouTube edits and what you personally edited.
- Confirmation that A$50 AUD per video works for you.
- Your usual turnaround for a timestamped 1–2-hour source segment, and how many videos you can handle weekly.
- Your editing software and ability to download/upload large video files.
- Whether you are comfortable communicating on WhatsApp after we connect.
- One sentence explaining how you decide what to cut while keeping a video entertaining.
- No unpaid test is required. Please send relevant work rather than a large general portfolio.
