About the role

I’m looking for a careful, methodical QA tester to help improve Bellaura, a platform for creators and creative professionals.

Your job will be to use the platform from the perspective of different users, identify problems, document them clearly, and verify that fixes work. I need someone who goes beyond checking whether a button can be clicked and thinks about whether the full experience makes sense.

Strong written and spoken English is required. Clear written communication is especially important: your bug reports should help a developer understand and reproduce an issue without unnecessary back-and-forth.

What you’ll do
Test complete user journeys, including account creation, login, profiles, media uploads, discovery, events, messaging, and booking flows as available.
Check functionality and presentation across agreed desktop and mobile browsers, screen sizes, and user roles.
Test both normal behavior and edge cases, such as missing information, invalid inputs, repeated actions, interrupted flows, and different permission levels.
Write reproducible bug reports with steps, expected versus actual results, environment details, impact, and supporting screenshots or recordings.
Retest fixes, maintain regression checklists, and flag confusing wording, broken layouts, inconsistent behavior, and usability problems.
Who I’m looking for

You should have hands-on experience with manual website or app testing and be comfortable documenting your work in an issue tracker or structured task system.

You need patience, curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to separate a reproducible defect from a suggestion or personal preference. You should keep testing records organized and communicate what is blocked, what has passed, and what still needs investigation.

Coding is not required. Experience with browser developer tools, automated testing, or Playwright is a plus. Testing must use approved accounts and data, with appropriate care for private information.

Additional skills I strongly prefer

QA testing is the priority for this listing, but ideally you also have experience in executive assistance, video editing, and photo editing.

I would prefer one versatile candidate who can contribute across multiple areas. Administrative organization and follow-through are particularly useful alongside testing, and candidates who can also produce good photo and video edits are especially interesting.

For the creative side of the role, my preference is to have photo and video editing handled by the same person.
