Virtual Colleague, under the Shoutout Digital Group, is looking for a confident and proactive Sales & Lead Conversion Specialist to support one of our dental clients based in Victoria, Australia.
The main focus is helping the clinic turn warm enquiries into booked appointments through thoughtful follow-up, good conversations and good rapport.
We're looking for someone who feels comfortable speaking with Australian customers, knows how to keep a conversation natural, and can confidently help people move forward without sounding scripted or overly salesy.
Dental experience is definitely helpful, but strong communication and sales instincts matter more. The clinic is happy to train the right person on their services, systems and dental terminology.
What you'll be doing
∙ Follow up with warm leads and patient enquiries
∙ Speak with potential patients over the phone and help turn enquiries into appointments
∙ Follow up with people who may not be ready to book straight away
∙ Answer basic questions and help patients feel comfortable taking the next step
∙ Handle common objections in a natural and helpful way
∙ Keep lead notes and follow-ups organised
∙ Work closely with the clinic team on appointment availability, services and current offers
We'd love to hear from you if you have
∙ Strong experience in sales, lead conversion, appointment setting or lead generation
∙ Ideally 5+ years of relevant experience
∙ Experience speaking with Australian customers or supporting Australian businesses
∙ Confident spoken and written English
∙ A warm, conversational phone manner
∙ Good rapport-building and listening skills
∙ Confidence handling objections without sounding pushy
∙ The ability to work independently and stay on top of follow-ups
Nice to have
∙ Previous dental or healthcare experience
∙ Experience booking appointments
∙ Familiarity with GoHighLevel (GHL) or similar CRM systems
∙ Experience working with patient or healthcare leads
Don't worry if you haven't worked in dental before. For this role, we're much more interested in finding someone who is naturally good with people, confident in sales conversations and willing to learn the dental side.
Working Hours
This will start as a flexible, part-time role, at approximately 10 (or more) hours per week.
You'll be supporting a clinic based in Victoria, Australia, so you'll need to be available for agreed working hours that overlap with the clinic's Victorian/Melbourne business hours.
We're happy to discuss how those hours are spread across the week during the interview. It could be a couple of hours each day or selected days depending on what works best for the clinic and the successful candidate.
There is also room for this role to grow. If things are working well and your follow-ups are helping generate more bookings, the client is open to increasing the hours over time, with the potential for this to develop into a larger and more long-term role.
Why work with Virtual Colleague?
We work with Australian businesses looking for great people they can build long-term working relationships with.
You'll receive proper onboarding and support, and you'll have the opportunity to learn the clinic's systems and services before being expected to know everything.
We're looking for someone reliable, proactive, and good at what they do. No unnecessary corporate pressure, just clear expectations, good communication and a team that wants you to succeed.
