JOB OVERVIEW

We’re an adventure travel company with a team based in the UK and Vietnam, looking for a reliable, organised and proactive person to join us long term.

The role starts at 2 hours per day, 7 days per week, with the opportunity to increase your hours and responsibilities as you grow with us.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Updating customer information and Google Sheets
• Cross checking bookings and information across different systems
• Managing customer check in information before trips
• Following up with customers for missing information
• Checking and updating tour availability
• Carrying out regular booking and system audits
• Following up abandoned bookings and enquiries
• Customer messaging and community admin
• Competitor research
• Replying to customer reviews
• Following regular processes and checklists
• Supporting the team with general day to day operations

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Previous experience working for a travel company or tour operator is essential.

We’re particularly interested in people who have experience with customer bookings, pre departure information, booking systems, customer follow ups and coordinating between customers and operations.

Experience solely with hotels, Airbnb, ---------- or Agoda does not count as travel company experience for this role.

You should have:

• Excellent natural written and spoken English
• Excellent attention to detail
• A proactive approach to solving problems
• Strong customer communication skills
• Experience using spreadsheets and online systems
• The ability to work independently and know when to ask for help
• A reliable and responsible attitude
• An interest in growing into a bigger role with us long term

We’re a small, casual team, so natural communication is important. We’re not looking for overly formal or corporate communication.

HOURS & PAY

2 hours per day, 7 days per week.

You must be available for BOTH:

9am to 10am Philippine time
4pm to 5pm Philippine time

Hours are tracked using Hubstaff.

Starting rate is $5 to $6 USD per hour, with a performance and pay review after 3 months.

There will also be opportunities for additional paid hours, and ideally we’d like this person to take on considerably more hours and responsibility in the future.
