JOB OVERVIEW

Dextera Logistics is a U.S. freight brokerage. We match shipments with trucking companies and keep those
loads moving until they are delivered. You would join an established team of other Virtual Assistants in the
Philippines who already support our U.S. operations. This role tracks drivers, communicates by phone and
text, escalates problems, and keeps our systems current.

Pay and schedule
• Starting pay: $3.47 USD per hour. Transfer fees covered.
• 8–9 hours per day, Monday–Friday. Overtime pay after 40hrs.
• Must work U.S. business hours (Eastern Time). This is daytime in the U.S. and evening/night in the
Philippines.
• Target start: October 1 or October 5, 2026, depending on the new hire’s schedule.
• This is a contractor / remote role. You will use your own equipment.

What you will do:
• Call and text drivers to get location, ETA, pickup and delivery status.
• Update tracking and company systems with accurate, timely information.
• Escalate issues quickly — late trucks, no answer, breakdowns, dock problems, or anything that can
delay a load.
• Keep clean written notes after calls and messages so the U.S. team can act without guessing.
• Follow up with drivers who do not respond and log every attempt.
• Handle drivers who are frustrated, short, or impatient without arguing.
• Complete data entry and status updates with a high level of accuracy.
• Work from a simple checklist and process; ask when instructions are unclear instead of guessing.
• Coordinate with the existing VA team and U.S. staff so handoffs and updates stay consistent.

What we need:
• High-energy individuals with the ability to multi-task
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong spoken and written English. You will talk to U.S. truck drivers every day.
• Clear phone voice, good comprehension, and the ability to write short, correct texts and system notes.
• Patience and a calm tone with difficult people.
• Comfort with repetitive follow-up work without getting sloppy.
• Basic computer skills: browser, email, spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets), and chat tools.
• Reliable and on time for a set daily shift.
• Dispatch, tracking, customer service, BPO, or logistics experience is a plus. It is not required if your
English and work habits are strong.

Equipment you must have
• Your own computer that can run a browser, spreadsheet, and calling app at the same time.
• A headset with a microphone. Laptop speakers and a built-in mic are not enough.
• Stable home internet. Be ready to show a live speed test. Wired connection is preferred.
• A backup plan if power or internet drops (hotspot, second connection, or UPS).
• A quiet workspace for phone calls. Background noise will be heard by drivers.
• Ability to install the software we use.
