JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role

I'm looking for a proactive and reliable assistant to manage bidding on Airtasker. Your main responsibility is to find relevant tasks and submit competitive, well-written offers to help win jobs.

This is a lead generation role. The more quality offers you send, the more calls we book, and the more you earn on top of your base.

No prior Airtasker experience is required, but strong communication and persuasion skills are important.

Hours

Monday to Friday, available 8am to 5pm Philippine time.

To be clear, this is an availability window, not 8 hours of work. Most people finish the daily workload in 3 to 4 hours. We just need you contactable during that window so replies don't sit unanswered while the lead goes cold.

Responsibilities
Search for relevant tasks daily
Submit 25 to 50 personalised offers per day
Write clear and persuasive offer messages, no copy and paste templates
Adjust pricing strategy when needed
Track submitted bids and responses in a Google Sheet
Reply to inbound messages the same day
Follow up with potential clients
Qualify replies and book them into our calendar
Communicate updates regularly
Requirements
Available 8am to 5pm PH time, Monday to Friday
Strong written English
Persuasive communication skills
Attention to detail
Reliable internet connection and a backup option for outages
Ability to follow pricing guidelines
Self-motivated and consistent
Comfortable with rejection, most offers get ignored and that's normal
Performance Expectations
25 to 50 offers submitted daily
Clear tracking of every submission and response
Focus on win rate and quality leads, not volume alone
Same-day replies to anyone who responds
Compensation

$200 USD per month base, paid fortnightly. Commissions on top for the leads you convert, discussed during the interview.

A written test. Below is a sample Airtasker listing. Write the offer message you would send. Under 100 words.

"Need a new website for my plumbing business. Current one is old and doesn't work on phones. Want something simple that lets people book a job. Budget around $1,500. Need it done in the next month."

Applications missing the written test will be skipped. It's the first thing we read.

One note: don't run the test through ChatGPT. We'll know, and so will the person on the other end of your offer. If you can't write a warm, specific message yourself, this isn't the right role for you.
