JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a reliable and experienced video editor to edit professional educational videos for an online psychiatric nurse practitioner board-review academy.

The videos include PowerPoint presentations, screen recordings, and instructor camera footage. Most videos are long-form lessons, so the ideal candidate must be comfortable editing educational content that may be several hours long.

Responsibilities:

• Edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
• Remove mistakes, repeated statements, long pauses, interruptions, and unnecessary sections
• Seamlessly switch between the instructor’s full-screen camera and PowerPoint presentation
• Synchronize video, screen recordings, and audio
• Improve audio clarity and maintain consistent volume
• Perform professional color correction when needed
• Add clean titles, topic headings, transitions, and branded elements
• Resize and reposition the instructor’s picture-in-picture window when necessary
• Add captions when requested
• Maintain a clean, polished, professional style appropriate for graduate-level healthcare providers
• Export finished videos in high-quality web-ready formats
• Keep all course materials private and confidential
• Meet agreed-upon deadlines and communicate consistently

We do not want excessive animations, distracting effects, childish graphics, or loud editing. The final videos should look polished, modern, professional, and easy for students to follow.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience using Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
• Experience editing long-form courses, tutorials, webinars, or educational videos
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent audio-editing and synchronization skills
• Ability to follow detailed instructions without removing important educational information
• Reliable internet connection and computer capable of handling large video files
• Ability to receive feedback and complete revisions promptly
