About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Appraisal Coordinator to take ownership of our appraisal order pipeline from bid acceptance through final delivery and file closure.

This is a senior operations role with meaningful decision-making responsibility. You will coordinate orders, communicate directly with clients, manage revisions and deadlines, and ensure our systems remain accurate and up to date.

You will also manage incoming bid requests for standard residential assignments, provide quotes, and follow up consistently until each opportunity reaches a clear outcome.

Success in this role means orders keep moving, clients know what is happening, and issues are identified and addressed before they become problems.

What You’ll Own

Appraisal Operations

Manage the full appraisal order lifecycle in ANOW, from bid acceptance through delivery and file closure.
Make independent bid decisions for standard residential assignments within established guidelines.
Coordinate inspection scheduling and appraiser routing across the Chicago and Dallas markets.
Deliver completed reports through AMC and client portals in required formats, including PDF, XML, and ENV/ENB formats as applicable.
Manage revision requests from receipt through completion, including communicating requirements to report writers and providing clients with clear ETAs.
Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready records in ANOW.
Monitor active orders closely and proactively resolve delays, missing information, or other roadblocks.

Bids and Sales Support

Prepare quotes for standard residential appraisal assignments.
Follow up consistently on outstanding bids until the client provides a clear yes or no.
Record every bid, follow-up, and next action in Zoho CRM on the same day.
Escalate new client entities and non-standard appraisal scopes to the appropriate relationship owner.

Client Communication
Serve as a day-to-day contact for client questions regarding order status, timing, and scope.
Communicate proactively when delays, issues, or changes arise.
Set clear and realistic expectations with clients.
Escalate situations involving unrealistic turnaround requests, quality disputes, or relationship risks to the appropriate manager.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have:
At least 2 years of direct experience with a U.S.-based Appraisal Management Company (AMC) or U.S. appraisal office.
Hands-on experience managing appraisal orders through multiple stages of the lifecycle.
Client-facing experience involving quoting, follow-up, account support, or retention.
Working knowledge of common appraisal products and assignments, including:
1004 / URAR
FHA
Field Review
New Construction
Desktop appraisals
Hands-on experience using ANOW, Mercury Network, Appraisal Inbox, or a comparable appraisal management platform.
Strong CRM discipline and the ability to maintain accurate records and next steps in real time.
Demonstrated ability to manage 20+ active appraisal orders simultaneously without sacrificing accuracy, responsiveness, or client communication.
Strong written and spoken English, with the confidence to communicate directly with U.S. clients.
Strong organization, attention to detail, and independent problem-solving skills.
Reliable internet access and a quiet, professional remote-work environment.
