We are a growing DTC e-commerce group and are hiring one person to own our conversion program: build product pages, landing pages, and offers, A/B test them, read the data, and ship the winners, every week. You will work directly with the founders, our media buyer, and our ad creative team. We have enough traffic to run several real tests every month, so you will see results fast.
This is not a "make it look pretty" job. We care about revenue per visitor.
What You Will Do:
Build pages and funnels:
- Design product pages, advertorials / pre-landers, listicles, bundle pages, and upsell / cross-sell flows
- Build landing pages that match the ad angles that are scaling
- Set up post-purchase upsells, the cart drawer, and checkout settings
- Keep a library of proven page templates and sections
Design and test offers:
- Test bundles, tiered pricing, quantity breaks, free-gift and free-shipping thresholds, and discount framing
- Run price and offer tests
- Calculate the margin impact before any offer goes live, no offer ships without a profit-per-order calculation
Run A/B tests:
- Keep a prioritized test backlog (hypothesis, expected impact, effort)
- Launch multiple tests per week, each with a written hypothesis and a clear success metric
- Calculate sample size before launch and run tests to statistical significance
- Keep a test log: what changed, dates, traffic, result, decision, learning
- Roll out winners everywhere they apply; document losers so we never re-test them
Analyze:
- Weekly review Shopify analytics: funnel drop-off by step, device, traffic source, landing page
- Review heatmaps and session recordings to find friction
- Mine customer support tickets, reviews, and surveys for objections and copy angles
- Monthly competitor check (pages and offers)
Report:
- Weekly report: tests running, tests finished, results, next launches, RPV / CVR / AOV trend
- Monthly report: total lift, learnings, next month's backlog, recommendations for ads and creative
- Tell the media buyer which landers get traffic and at what split; feed winning hooks and objections back to the creative team
Your KPIs:
- Revenue per visitor
- Profit per visitor / margin per order
- Conversion rate and AOV
- Tests launched per month and win rate
- Add-to-cart rate and checkout completion rate
Requirements:
- Experience building Shopify pages for e-commerce brands (DTC, dropshipping, or CRO / e-commerce agency)
- Built advertorials / pre-landers matched to specific ad angles
- You have run real A/B tests and can show results with numbers (CVR, RPV, AOV), including tests that lost
- You have run at least one price or offer test
- Comfortable with GA4, Shopify analytics, and Clarity
- You can explain sample size and statistical significance in simple words
- Good understanding of direct-response basics: hook, proof, objections, urgency
- Strong written English; clear, short reports
- Reliable internet, a good computer, and a quiet workspace
- Shopify Liquid / theme development knowledge
What We Offer:
- Full-time, long-term remote position
- Salary depending on experience, with room for increases based on results
- Real traffic, real budget, and real ownership of the test program
- Direct access to the founder, fast decisions, no bureaucracy
- Room to grow as the team grows
How to Apply:
1) Send your CV
2) 3 to 5 A/B tests you have run, at least one that LOST. For each test, include:
- Context: niche, page type, and rough traffic (sessions/day or orders/day)
- What data gave you the idea (heatmap, drop-off, survey, reviews, tickets)
- Your hypothesis in one sentence
- What you changed (control vs. variant, screenshots or a Loom are welcome as support)
- Tool used, traffic split, how long it ran, and sample size
- Result: CVR / RPV / AOV before and after, and whether it reached significance
- Decision: rolled out, killed, or iterated, and what you learned
You can hide brand names for NDA reasons. Relative numbers (for example "+11% RPV") are required.
3) Links to 2–3 live pages you built
4) A short answer to this question: "Tell us about a test you were sure would win, and it lost. What did you learn?"
5) A screenshot of a test log or weekly report you keep (redacted is fine)
6) If possible, a 3–5 minute Loom video walking us through one of your tests
Applications with no screenshots and no numbers will not be considered.
