JOB OVERVIEW

he role is more focused on having someone who can work directly with clients to complete and submit funding applications and help get those applications approved. It’s not simply about generating funding leads; the person needs to have hands-on experience with the actual funding process.

When evaluating candidates, I think we should specifically highlight and look for experience in:

Completing business and/or personal funding applications on behalf of clients

Understanding different funding programs and knowing which options are appropriate for each client

Helping clients properly prepare their applications and documentation

Working through the application process to improve the likelihood of approval

Having experience obtaining business credit, loans, lines of credit, or other forms of funding for clients

Being able to provide specific examples of successful approvals

Most importantly, knowing the largest funding amount they have personally helped a client obtain and get approved for
