About Elite Processing Team

Elite Processing Team is a fast-growing U.S.-based mortgage processing company supporting mortgage brokers and loan officers nationwide.

We specialize in full-cycle U.S. residential mortgage processing, managing loans from submission through Clear to Close and funding. Our focus is speed, accuracy, communication, and accountability.

We are expanding our remote team in the Philippines and looking for an experienced Senior Mortgage Loan Processor who can independently manage a high-volume pipeline.

U.S. MORTGAGE PROCESSING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED

This is not an entry-level position. Candidates must have direct, hands-on experience processing U.S. residential mortgage loans.

Applicants without U.S. mortgage processing experience will not be considered.

Position Details

Job Title: Senior Mortgage Loan Processor
Location: 100% Remote — Philippines
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday | U.S. Business Hours
Reports To: Director of Operations
Start Date: Immediate

What You'll Do

As a Senior Loan Processor, you will manage U.S. residential mortgage files from initial submission through funding while serving as the primary processing contact for loan officers, borrowers, underwriters, lenders, and settlement agents.

Key Responsibilities
Independently manage approximately 30–50 active mortgage files
Review 1003s, credit reports, AUS findings, income, assets, disclosures, and supporting documents
Identify underwriting issues before submission
Analyze W-2, self-employed, rental, commission, retirement, and other qualifying income
Review assets, reserves, and large deposits
Prepare complete files for underwriting
Read and interpret DU and LPA/LP findings
Independently clear PTD, PTC, and PTF underwriting conditions
Communicate directly with underwriters and lenders
Prepare and coordinate LOEs and supporting documentation
Work with our vendor team on appraisal, title, HOI, VOE, payoffs, flood, condo/HOA, and other third-party services
Coordinate Clear to Close and closing requirements
Maintain accurate LOS notes and milestones
Provide proactive updates to borrowers and Loan Officers
Keep files moving toward our goal of a 15-business-day Clear to Close
Required Experience
U.S. Mortgage Experience — REQUIRED

Candidates must have previous U.S. residential mortgage processing experience.

Minimum requirements:

3+ years of U.S. residential mortgage processing experience preferred
Full-cycle U.S. mortgage processing from submission through funding
Experience independently clearing underwriting conditions
Strong wholesale/broker mortgage experience
Experience working with multiple U.S. wholesale lenders
Experience managing your own pipeline
Strong understanding of U.S. mortgage guidelines and documentation

Experience with lenders such as UWM, NewRez/Shellpoint, PennyMac, A&D Mortgage, Rocket Pro TPO, Freedom Mortgage, Plaza Home Mortgage, LoanStream, or similar wholesale lenders is strongly preferred.

Philippines, Australian, Canadian, or other international mortgage experience alone does not meet this requirement. You must have U.S. mortgage processing experience.

Loan Program Knowledge

Candidates should have experience with multiple U.S. loan programs, including:

Conventional
FHA
VA
DSCR / Investor
Non-QM
Jumbo
Refinance
HELOC / second mortgages

Experience limited to only one loan type may not be sufficient for this senior-level position.

Systems & Technology

Experience with the following is preferred:

Encompass, BytePro, Calyx Point, or similar LOS
Desktop Underwriter (DU)
Loan Product Advisor (LPA/LP)
Wholesale lender portals
DocuSign and mortgage document platforms
PDF/document management
Microsoft Outlook & Teams — REQUIRED

Candidates must be comfortable using Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams daily, including:

Managing high-volume email
Writing professional emails
Managing calendars and meeting invitations
Teams chat and internal communication
Teams video meetings
File sharing and collaboration
Communication Standards

This is a client-facing position.

You must have:

Excellent written and verbal English
Professional phone and email communication
Confidence communicating with U.S.-based borrowers and Loan Officers
Ability to explain underwriting conditions clearly
Strong communication with underwriters and lenders
Excellent follow-up skills

Loan Officers should not have to chase you for updates.

Senior Processors are expected to know the status of their files, anticipate problems, and communicate before an issue impacts closing.
