JOB OVERVIEW

Role Overview
We are seeking experienced, highly motivated Outbound Sales & Appointment Setting Virtual Assistants to support a growing life insurance company.

This is a performance-driven sales role focused primarily on outbound calling to cold leads, creating interest, having quality conversations, and booking qualified appointments for the sales team.

We are looking for candidates who are exceptional on the phone, confident speaking with cold prospects, comfortable overcoming objections, and motivated by measurable results.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of successful outbound calling, appointment setting, or phone-based sales experience. Life insurance experience is a plus but is not required.

Key Responsibilities:
* Make a high volume of outbound calls to cold leads
* Engage prospects quickly and professionally
* Build rapport and create interest over the phone
* Clearly communicate the reason for the call and value proposition
* Ask effective questions to identify interest and potential needs
* Handle common objections confidently
* Follow established scripts while communicating naturally
* Book qualified appointments for the sales team
* Follow up consistently with leads who do not initially schedule
* Maintain accurate lead notes, dispositions, and follow-up information
* Manage leads and activities within the CRM
* Consistently work toward established calling, appointment, and performance goals

Required Qualifications:
* 2+ years of demonstrated success in outbound calling, appointment setting, telemarketing, or phone-based sales
* Excellent spoken English
* Exceptional phone presence and communication skills
* Proven ability to successfully book appointments from cold leads
* Strong sales and persuasion skills
* Comfortable handling objections and rejection
* Confident, energetic, and engaging on the phone
* Strong follow-up and organizational skills
* Comfortable using a CRM and managing a sales pipeline
* Self-motivated and able to perform without constant supervision
* Results-oriented and comfortable being measured against clear performance expectations

Required
* Previous life insurance or insurance industry experience
* Experience calling U.S.-based consumers
* Experience working in a commission or performance-incentive environment
* Familiarity with insurance lead generation and appointment-setting processes

We want someone who genuinely enjoys sales, is comfortable discussing life insurance with prospects, likes competing against goals, and takes personal ownership of their performance.

Compensation & Incentives:
In addition to hourly compensation, this role will include a commission and/or performance incentive component designed to reward strong results. High performers will have the opportunity to increase their earnings based on their success.

What Success Looks Like:
The right VA will be someone the sales team can confidently give life insurance leads to, knowing they will consistently pick up the phone, create meaningful conversations, explain the value of life insurance, overcome objections, follow up relentlessly, and put qualified appointments on the calendar.

We are looking for proven life insurance appointment setters who understand the industry, know how to work cold leads, want to perform and produce, and are motivated to be rewarded for their results.
