JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Outbound Cold Email Specialist to join our growing brand.

The primary focus of this role is to identify relevant prospective clients and initiate high-quality, personalised conversations through cold email outreach.

This is not a mass-emailing role. Every email must be researched, bespoke and relevant to the individual recipient or business. The successful candidate will understand how to use research, personalisation and strong written communication to generate genuine interest and qualified opportunities for our sales team.

Key Responsibilities

- Research and identify suitable prospective clients, including interior designers, architects, property developers, contractors, bathroom fitters, plumbers and other relevant trade and commercial customers.
- Research each prospect and their business before making contact.
- Write personalised cold emails tailored specifically to the recipient, their company and the type of projects they undertake.
- Ensure emails feel individually written rather than generated from generic templates.
- Clearly communicate why our products or services may be relevant to each prospect.
- Manage structured follow-up sequences for prospects who do not initially respond.
- Follow up previous conversations and potential leads generated through outbound activity.
- Maintain accurate records of prospects contacted, follow-ups and outcomes.
- Continually improve messaging based on response rates, engagement and the quality of opportunities generated.
- Identify new customer segments and prospecting opportunities that could be relevant to the business.
- Hand over interested prospects and positive responses to the sales team for further discussion and conversion.

Experience Required

Applicants must have:

- A minimum of 2 years' proven experience in B2B cold email outreach or outbound email prospecting.
- Demonstrable experience generating leads and conversations through cold outbound email.
- Experience managing follow-ups and nurturing prospects who may require multiple points of contact before responding.
- Strong written English and the ability to write concise, natural and professional emails.
- Strong online research skills and the ability to identify meaningful information that can be used to personalise outreach.
- Experience working with CRM, prospecting or email outreach platforms.
- A good understanding of email deliverability and responsible outbound email practices.

Experience targeting interior designers, architects, developers, construction companies, property professionals or trade customers would be particularly beneficial.

What Success Looks Like

We are NOT looking for someone whose primary objective is simply to send the highest possible number of emails.

Success will be measured by the quality and relevance of outreach, positive response rates, qualified opportunities generated and the consistency of follow-up.

The objective is simple: identify businesses that could genuinely benefit from working with us, approach them intelligently and personally, and create qualified conversations for our sales team.

Once a prospect responds with genuine interest, our sales team will take responsibility for progressing and closing the opportunity.
