Weekend IT Support Specialist — Retail Systems
Part-time | Remote (Philippines) | US$5 per hour | Weekends only
A multi-site Australian fashion retailer is looking for a dependable, service-minded Weekend IT Support Specialist to provide first-line remote support across ~55 stores.
You'll help store teams resolve common technology issues quickly, minimise disruption to trade, and make sure anything that can't be solved remotely is clearly documented and escalated. Practical troubleshooting matters — and so does patience, empathy and clear communication. Many store users have varied technical confidence, so explaining the next step simply is just as important as finding the fix.
The Opportunity

Arrangement: Part-time, ongoing weekend contractor engagement.

- Experience supporting POS systems and payment/store hardware; Cegid advantageous but not essential.
- Patient, practical, customer-focused communication.

- Strong reliability across the full Saturday and Sunday 9:00am–8:00pm AEST window.
- Secure home working setup, reliable internet, and a dependable backup plan for connectivity/power interruption.
- Experience with remote monitoring/support tools; NinjaOne advantageous (training provided).
Training & success
You'll be trained on common weekend issues, approved troubleshooting steps, systems and escalation pathways. Success looks like prompt, calm support for stores; accurate first-line fixes with minimal trade disruption; clear tickets; timely escalations; clean Monday handovers; and growing self-sufficiency as the knowledge base develops.
