ABOUT US
We operate a portfolio of 45+ short-term rental properties across the United States, generating seven-figure annual revenue.
Our operation is fully remote. We primarily host corporate travelers and families—we do not operate party houses.
This is a real hospitality operations role, not a generic administrative VA position. We are building a disciplined, process-driven team and want people who take ownership, exercise sound judgment, solve problems, and are looking for long-term stability.
THE ROLE
We are hiring three full-time Guest Experience VAs across two core shifts:
Morning Shift: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern Time
Evening Shift: 5:00 PM–1:00 AM Eastern Time
When applying, indicate whether you prefer the Morning Shift, Evening Shift, or are Flexible and can reliably work either shift.
Schedule: Six days per week, with one agreed day off
Compensation: $7–$9 USD per hour, depending on experience
Location: Fully remote
Paid Trial: Two weeks
Bonuses: Monthly performance bonuses based on response times, guest review scores, reliability, and low escalation rates
13th Month Pay: Yes
Commitment: Long-term, ideally 12+ months
GROWTH OPPORTUNITY
One of these positions may develop into an Elite VA / Operations Management role for an exceptional performer.
Elite VA / Operations Management compensation ranges from $11–$15 USD per hour, depending on experience, workload, responsibilities, and demonstrated performance.
Advancement will be based on leadership, operational judgment, reliability, ownership, and the ability to improve the team’s performance—not simply time in the role.
WHAT YOU’LL DO EVERY SHIFT
- Respond to guest messages within 10 minutes with warm, professional, and solution-oriented communication
- Coordinate cleaners and maintenance vendors through Slack, including turnovers, schedules, supply issues, access problems, and follow-ups
- Manage early check-ins, late check-outs, booking extensions, and same-day booking requests
- File and follow up on Airbnb AirCover and Resolution Center claims
- Monitor Schlage smart locks and Blink cameras, troubleshoot access issues, and flag potential rule violations
- Follow up proactively when cleaners or vendors miss deadlines or fail to respond
- Complete detailed shift handoff notes before logging off—every shift, without exception
- Read the complete guest conversation and reservation notes before responding
- Follow SOPs in Notion and flag anything that is missing, outdated, or unclear
- Make sound decisions in routine situations without waiting for manager approval
- Escalate serious issues promptly with complete and organized information
CORE SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
You must have recent, direct, hands-on experience with all three of the following:
- Hospitable
- Notion
- Slack
We will train you on our properties, policies, team structure, and company-specific SOPs. However, this role is not intended for someone who needs to learn our core software from the beginning.
Experience with SuiteOp is a strong bonus.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- At least two years of direct Airbnb, STR, or property-management VA experience
- Recent hands-on experience with Hospitable, Notion, and Slack

- Strong written English at a C1 level or higher
- Professional, natural, and guest-ready communication
- Calm decision-making during urgent and after-hours situations
- Ability to follow documented procedures while still exercising common sense
- Reliable internet of at least 50 Mbps

- Availability for a stable, long-term position
THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF
- You have never worked in short-term rental or Airbnb operations
- You have not directly used Hospitable, Notion, and Slack
- Your experience with these tools is old, limited, or only observational
- You need manager approval for every routine decision
- You struggle to write natural, professional guest messages
- You wait for problems to become emergencies before taking action
- You avoid responsibility or fail to document your work
- You are looking for a temporary role or side gig
ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE DIRECT STR OR AIRBNB EXPERIENCE AND HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE WITH OUR CORE SOFTWARE.
HOW TO APPLY
Applications that do not follow every instruction below will not be reviewed.
The first line of your application must contain only this word:
FRONTLINE
Then answer the following questions using the same numbers:
1. What is the maximum number of active short-term rental units you personally supported simultaneously? Do not provide the company’s total portfolio unless you personally handled every unit.
2. How many years of direct STR or Airbnb operations experience do you have? Briefly describe your core daily responsibilities.
3. Do you have direct, hands-on experience with Hospitable? State how long you used it, when you last used it, and the specific tasks you personally completed in Hospitable.
4. Do you have direct, hands-on experience with Notion? State how long you used it, when you last used it, and how you used it during daily operations.
5. Do you have direct, hands-on experience with Slack? State how long you used it, when you last used it, and how you used it to coordinate with an operations team.
6. Have you used SuiteOp? If yes, explain how long ago, for how long, and what you personally did with it. SuiteOp experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
7. What routine STR decisions were you authorized to make without manager approval? Provide two specific examples.
8. Write the exact message you would send in response to this guest. Do not explain your actions—write only the guest-facing response:
“Hi, it’s 10:45 PM. We just arrived. The AC is broken, we can’t find parking, and I want a refund!”
9. A cleaner was supposed to finish a property by 2:00 PM but has not confirmed completion. A guest is checking in at 4:00 PM, and the cleaner has not responded to your first message in 30 minutes. Walk us through the exact steps you would take next.
10. Which shift are you applying for: Morning, Evening, or Flexible? Confirm that you can consistently work your selected schedule six days per week and explain how you will maintain it long-term.
11. Confirm that you are open to a two-week paid trial.
12. Include a 45–60 second voice note describing the most difficult after-hours STR issue you personally handled. Explain what happened, the first three actions you took, what you communicated to the guest, and the final outcome.
Provide a working, publicly accessible link to your recording. We are evaluating the clarity and substance of your answer—not your accent or recording quality.
We pay biweekly, on time, every time. We also provide 13th-month pay and genuine advancement opportunities for team members who consistently perform at a high level.
If you want a stable, long-term role with a growing company—and you have genuine short-term rental experience—we would like to hear from you.
