Amazon Product Sourcing VA – Experienced Amazon FBA Sourcing Specialist

Location: Remote
Hours: 8-10 hours per day, full-time
Pay: $500/month to the right candidate + potential performance-based commissions
Industry: Amazon FBA / E-commerce

We are looking for an experienced Amazon Product Sourcing VA to join our growing e-commerce team.

This is not a basic VA role. We are looking for someone who understands Amazon product sourcing, profitability, competition and product analysis and can consistently identify genuine opportunities for us to buy and resell profitably.

The right person will become an important part of our team and will have the opportunity to take on more responsibility and earn additional commission as we grow.

What you'll be doing

Your primary responsibility will be to source profitable Amazon products and suppliers.

This will include:

Finding profitable products suitable for Amazon FBA
Conducting online arbitrage and retail arbitrage sourcing
Identifying wholesale opportunities
Finding new suppliers, retailers and potential sourcing leads
Analysing products for profitability before presenting them
Checking Amazon competition and Buy Box dynamics
Monitoring price history and sales trends
Identifying products with strong sales potential and healthy margins
Finding repeatable products that can be replenished
Researching competitors and their product ranges
Building and maintaining supplier/product databases
Contacting suppliers where required
Keeping accurate sourcing records
Continuously looking for new and creative sourcing methods
Required experience

You must have previous Amazon sourcing experience.

You should be confident using:

You should understand how to assess:

Price history
Competition
FBA fees
ROI
Profit margins

Whether a product is genuinely worth sourcing

We're looking for someone who can look at a product and quickly determine:

“Is this actually worth buying, and why?”

rather than simply sending us a list of products.

We want someone who goes beyond the obvious

We are particularly interested in someone who can think creatively about sourcing.

We don't want someone who relies on one sourcing method every day.

We want someone who is constantly thinking:

Where else can we find this product?
Are there suppliers we haven't discovered?
Can we negotiate better pricing?
Can we find products before competitors do?
Can we identify new brands entering the market?
Can we find replenishable products?
Can we develop relationships with suppliers?
Is there a different sourcing strategy we can test?

As the business grows, we will be testing and developing new sourcing methods and strategies, and we want someone who is excited to be part of that process.
