JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role

ZAP Media is a growing real estate photography and video company based in Utah, USA. I am looking for a skilled, reliable photo editor in the Philippines to join the company full-time and long-term.

Your primary responsibility will be editing professional real estate photography. Most properties are photographed using 5-image HDR brackets at 2-stop intervals, and finished galleries normally need to be delivered within 1 business day.

I am looking for someone who understands what high-quality real estate photography should look like—not simply someone who knows how to use presets.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• HDR/bracket blending for real estate photography
• Natural-looking window pulls
• Correcting white balance and mixed interior lighting
• Exposure and color correction
• Straightening vertical and horizontal lines
• Lens correction
• Removing minor distractions when appropriate
• Producing clean, bright, realistic interiors without an artificial HDR look
• Maintaining consistent color and editing style across an entire property
• Preparing finished files for fast client delivery
• Organizing and managing multiple property projects

I primarily use Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, so experience with both is strongly preferred.

Video editing experience is a major advantage.

I also produce real estate listing videos, drone videos, vertical social media reels, interviews, promotional videos, and other client projects. I currently edit in Adobe Premiere Pro. Someone who is confident editing professional video may eventually handle both photography and video post-production and take on a larger role within the company.

Video skills that would be especially valuable include:

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Real estate listing videos
• Drone footage editing
• Vertical Instagram/Facebook/TikTok reels
• Music selection and timing
• Color correction/color grading
• Speed ramping and smooth transitions when appropriate
• Dialogue/interview editing
• Basic audio cleanup
• Captions and social-media formatting

What I care about most

I care a lot about color. Walls should look like their actual color, whites should look natural, windows should not look pasted in, and images should remain believable while still looking polished and attractive.

Reliability is also extremely important. Real estate agents work on short timelines, so if a project is due the following morning, I need to know it will be finished on time.

You do not need perfect English. You do need enough conversational written English to understand instructions, ask questions when necessary, and communicate clearly with me. Constant communication is a must. If you need more time on a project, please tell me.

HDPhotoHub experience is a bonus, but not required. I use HDPhotoHub for client ordering, project management, delivery, and marketing materials. I am happy to train the right person on my workflow.

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time position
• Approximately 40 hours per week
• $1,000 USD per month starting compensation
• Long-term position for the right person
• Stable ongoing work as the company grows

Because I am located in Utah, the time difference can work in our favor. I often photograph properties during my daytime and upload projects afterward, allowing editing to happen during normal daytime hours in the Philippines and be ready for my clients the following morning.
