SHOPIFY / E-COMMERCE ASSISTANT
We are seeking an experienced Shopify / E-Commerce Assistant to manage, maintain, and improve our online store. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Shopify, product and content management, SEO, website performance, and basic coding.
We will be offering a paid 1 week trial of 10 hours to see if this is a good fit.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage Shopify products, collections, navigation, themes, and website content
• Create new product listings from start to finish and update or optimize existing products
• Manage product data, descriptions, images, pricing, variants, tags, collections, metafields, and SEO
• Perform catalog management, bulk updates, data cleanup, and content organization
• Manage on-page and technical SEO, including metadata, URLs, internal linking, images, and site structure
• Monitor and improve website speed, performance, mobile usability, broken links, and overall site health
• Troubleshoot basic Shopify theme and coding issues
• Manage Shopify native features, apps, and third-party integrations
• Use Google Analytics and other reporting tools to monitor traffic, conversions, customer behavior, and website performance
KEY SKILLS:
• Strong Shopify and e-commerce management experience
• Product data, catalog, and content management
• SEO management and optimization
• Google Analytics and website performance reporting
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JSON, and Shopify Liquid
• Shopify themes, apps, integrations, and troubleshooting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
ADDITIONAL HOURS & COMPENSATION:
Candidates with digital marketing and advertising experience may qualify for additional hours and compensation. Experience with Google Ads, Meta/Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, email/SMS marketing, social media marketing, retargeting, and campaign management is a plus.
Previous hands-on Shopify experience is required. We are looking for someone who can actively manage the content, organization, SEO, and technical health of an e-commerce website—not simply upload products.
