JOB OVERVIEW

## Shopify Designer + Graphic Designer + Content Video Editor

We are **two separate small business owners** looking for one creative professional to support both of our brands.

Our businesses are independently owned, but we have very similar needs. We are looking for someone who is strong in **Shopify design, e-commerce graphics, realistic product mockups, and short-form content video editing** and who can help us create polished, professional, cohesive online brands.

Both Shopify websites are already built and functioning. **We are not looking for full website rebuilds.** We need someone with a strong design eye who can refresh and maintain our existing stores, improve the shopping experience, and help us prepare for Q4 and the holiday season.

### Shopify & Website Work

For both businesses, responsibilities may include:

* Refreshing homepage layouts and Q4/holiday banners
* Organizing featured products and collections
* Improving navigation and overall shopping flow
* Making product and collection images visually consistent
* Creating realistic product mockups that do not look obviously AI-generated
* Cleaning up outdated products, graphics, banners, and seasonal content
* Making sure each website looks and functions well on mobile
* Creating a cohesive visual look throughout each store
* Updating website graphics and merchandising seasonally
* Making design and merchandising recommendations without needing step-by-step direction

### Graphic Design & Product Mockups

We need someone who can create polished e-commerce graphics and realistic mockups for products such as apparel, drinkware, personalized gifts, promotional products, holiday items, and other custom products.

You should be comfortable working within established brand guidelines while maintaining the individual look and feel of **two separate brands**.

### Content Video Editing

We are also looking for help editing short-form social media content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

This may include:

* Editing Reels and short-form videos
* Turning raw clips and B-roll into polished content
* Adding on-screen text, captions, transitions, and music where appropriate
* Editing talking-head and voiceover content
* Creating engaging product-focused and behind-the-scenes videos
* Following an existing content plan, brand style, or creative direction
* Repurposing footage into multiple usable pieces of content

We will provide the raw footage and overall direction. We need someone who can take that direction and turn it into finished content without requiring detailed editing instructions for every video.

### Ideal Candidate

You should:

* Have experience working with Shopify
* Have strong graphic design and visual merchandising skills
* Be able to create realistic, professional product mockups
* Have experience with Canva, Photoshop, or similar design software
* Have experience editing short-form social media videos
* Understand e-commerce and seasonal/holiday merchandising
* Be comfortable working with two separate business owners and maintaining two distinct brands
* Be organized and able to manage projects, feedback, and deadlines for both businesses
* Be proactive and able to make creative recommendations instead of waiting for step-by-step instructions
* Have strong attention to detail and consistency

### Project Scope

We are initially looking for help with a **Q4 website refresh and holiday preparation for both businesses**, along with content video editing.

This will begin as a project-based opportunity, but there is potential for **ongoing work throughout the year** for seasonal website updates, product launches, graphics, mockups, and social media content editing.
