# Web Designer & Front-End Developer — Shopify + AI Websites

**Remote — Philippines**
**Full-Time / Part-Time Considered**

## About Us

We are a growing web design agency creating modern, premium websites for businesses and brands.

Our workflow is heavily AI-assisted. I personally create many of our main website designs and interactive experiences using **Google AI Studio**, which generates the initial website/code.

I'm looking for a strong **Front-End Developer / Shopify Developer with good design sense** who can take those designs and turn them into fully functional, production-ready websites.

For some projects, you'll receive a complete design/code to implement. For simpler pages, you may also be expected to design and build them yourself while maintaining the existing website style.

## What You'll Do

### Google AI Studio → Shopify Implementation

This is a **core part of the role**.

Our typical workflow is:

**Google AI Studio design/code → Adapt for Shopify → Implement → Test → Refine → Final website**

You will be expected to:

* Work with AI-generated website code
* Understand and modify existing code
* Adapt/convert code for Shopify when necessary
* Implement custom designs into Shopify themes
* Build custom Shopify sections and templates
* Use Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
* Connect Shopify products, collections and dynamic content
* Make websites fully responsive
* Debug and fix issues
* Recreate animations/interactions where technically possible
* Compare the Shopify version to the original design and refine it

**Visual accuracy is very important.**

The goal isn't simply to make the code work. The final Shopify website should look and behave as closely as possible to the original design.

You should be comfortable adjusting:

* Spacing
* Typography
* Sizing
* Positioning
* Layout
* Responsive behavior
* Animations
* Hover/scroll interactions
* Overall visual quality

## Shopify Skills — REQUIRED

You should have strong experience with:

* Shopify themes
* Shopify Liquid
* Custom sections/blocks
* Custom page templates
* HTML/CSS/JavaScript
* Product & collection pages
* Metafields
* Dynamic Shopify content
* Cart functionality
* Shopify apps/integrations
* Responsive development
* Theme debugging
* Custom Shopify designs

**We are NOT looking for someone who only installs or lightly edits existing Shopify themes.**

You should be comfortable implementing **custom designs and custom code.**

## Front-End & Design

You should have:

* Strong HTML/CSS/JavaScript skills
* Strong understanding of responsive design
* Good eye for typography, spacing and layout
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to maintain an existing visual style
* Ability to troubleshoot design/technical issues
* Ability to work independently

For simpler pages such as About, Contact, landing pages, etc., you may be expected to design and build the page yourself based on the requirements and existing website.

You should be comfortable with:

**Understanding AI code → Modifying it → Debugging it → Improving it → Implementing it**

You should NOT simply copy/paste AI-generated code without understanding how it works.
