About Take a Touch

Take a Touch is a soccer-focused media team producing player recruitment videos, game and event highlights, social media content, interviews, and story-driven pieces for athletes, clubs, organizations, and soccer communities.

We are building a diverse network of dependable freelance video editors who can support upcoming projects and adapt to different formats, creative directions, and timelines.

Responsibilities

Depending on the assignment, the editor may be responsible for:

* Reviewing and organizing full-game or event footage
* Identifying a player’s strongest and most relevant moments
* Selecting clips based on the player’s position and project objective
* Creating recruitment videos from a coach or recruiter’s perspective
* Editing game highlights, event recaps, social media reels, interviews, and promotional content
* Adding music, sound design, captions, player indicators, and motion graphics
* Performing basic color correction and audio mixing
* Preparing horizontal and vertical deliverables
* Managing revisions and delivering final exports within the agreed timeline
* Organizing and delivering editable project files when required

Qualifications

* Demonstrated video-editing experience
* Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
* Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
* Practical knowledge of soccer/football through playing, coaching, following, or working within the sport
* Ability to recognize meaningful actions and position-specific qualities in match footage
* Ability to download, organize, and review large video files
* Strong attention to pacing, storytelling, visual clarity, and detail
* Ability to follow a creative brief and respond constructively to feedback
* Ability to typically complete assigned projects within 48 hours after receiving all footage, instructions, and necessary assets
* Reliable communication and time management
* A portfolio of previous editing work is required

Preferred Experience

* Soccer or sports-video editing
* Player recruitment or athlete-highlight videos
* Game and event recaps
* Short-form social media content
* Interviews and story-driven videos
* Motion graphics, player indicators, captions, color correction, and sound design

Typical Projects

Assignments may include:

* 3–5 minute player recruitment videos
* 60-second and 2-minute game highlights
* Social media videos under 60 seconds
* 60-second, 90-second, and 2-minute event recaps
* Interviews and soccer-community stories

Project availability and volume may vary. This opportunity is best suited for editors who are comfortable with flexible, project-based assignments.
