About Us
Oz Best Dealz / Cobra 4x4 is an established Australian e-commerce business specialising in 4WD accessories, automotive products and outdoor gear.
We sell through our own website and multiple online marketplaces across Australia. We are looking for an experienced, intelligent and highly organised e-commerce professional to join our team remotely from the Philippines.
This is not a basic VA or data-entry position.
We want someone who can take ownership of products from start to finish — research them, create professional listings, improve images, write persuasive content, price and categorise products correctly, publish them across different sales channels and make sure everything is accurate before it goes live.
We want someone who thinks for themselves, notices problems, comes up with ideas and does not require constant micromanagement.
Working Arrangement
• Remote position – Philippines
• Initially around 3 full days per week
• Opportunity to increase to 4 days per week
• Potential to become a much larger/full-time role for the right person
• Long-term position — we are not looking for someone who wants a short-term freelance project
• You must be reliably available during your agreed working hours
• Indicative rate: US$8–$12/hour depending on experience
• Higher rates may be considered for an exceptional candidate with strong e-commerce, creative, marketplace, SEO and Klaviyo experience
Your Main Responsibilities
1. Creating Complete E-Commerce Product Listings
This will be one of the most important parts of your job.
You may receive supplier information, photos, specifications and basic product details and be expected to turn them into a complete professional product listing.
This includes:
• Creating products in Neto / Maropost Commerce Cloud
• Writing strong product titles
• Writing persuasive product descriptions
• Creating clear features and benefits
• Researching products when necessary
• Understanding product specifications
• Checking vehicle fitment and compatibility
• Creating and managing variations
• Correctly categorising products
• Setting and checking pricing
• Sale pricing and promotional pricing
• Entering SKUs, brands, dimensions, specifications and attributes
• Uploading and organising images
• Checking spelling, formatting and presentation
• Making sure the listing looks professional before publishing
We don't want someone simply copying and pasting supplier information.
We want someone who understands how to turn technical information into something a customer will actually want to buy.
2. Product Image Editing & Creative Work
You should be comfortable improving product photos and creating professional advertising material.
Experience with tools such as:
• Canva
• Photoshop or similar image-editing software
• CapCut
• Higgsfield
• AI image tools
• AI video tools
Tasks may include:
• Cleaning supplier images
• Removing backgrounds
• Improving image quality
• Resizing and cropping
• Colour correction
• Adding dimensions
• Creating feature graphics
• Product comparison graphics
• Website banners
• Promotional graphics
• Social media creatives
• Advertising images
3. Marketplace Listings
You should ideally have experience managing products across different marketplaces such as:
• eBay
• Amazon
• Google Shopping / Merchant Center
• Meta /
• Other e-commerce marketplaces
You should understand:
• Marketplace titles
• Categories
• Item specifics
• Attributes
• Pricing
• Shipping information
• Product images
• Marketplace optimisation
• Fixing rejected or incorrect listings
You should understand that the best listing for our website may not always be exactly the same as the best listing for eBay, Google Shopping or another marketplace.
3. Copywriting & Selling
We want someone who understands how to sell, not just how to describe something.
For example, don't simply write:
“304 Stainless Steel.”
Understand why the customer cares:
“304 stainless steel construction provides excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability.”
You should be able to identify:
• Customer pain points
• Product benefits
• Key selling points
• Competitive advantages
• Strong calls to action
• Features that should be highlighted
Experience in direct-response advertising or e-commerce sales copywriting is highly desirable.
4. SEO Knowledge
Strong SEO knowledge is a bonus.
Ideally you understand the basics of:
• Keyword research
• SEO-friendly product titles
• Product descriptions
• Meta titles
• Meta descriptions
• Image alt text
• Internal linking
• Google Shopping optimisation
• Search intent
• Avoiding keyword stuffing
We don't necessarily need an SEO specialist, but we want someone who naturally thinks about how customers search for products.
5. Video, Social Media & Advertising Content
You may also help create:
• Instagram Reels
•
• TikTok videos
• YouTube Shorts
• Product videos
• Meta advertisements
• Promotional campaigns
• Website advertising graphics
Experience with Higgsfield, CapCut, Canva and modern AI creative tools is highly regarded.
We especially like people who can look at a product and come up with their own advertising ideas and hooks.
6. Klaviyo – Highly Desirable Bonus
Experience with Klaviyo would be a major advantage.
Ideally you can help with:
• EDM creation
• Promotional emails
• Email design
• Email copywriting
• Subject lines
• Welcome flows
• Abandoned cart flows
• Browse abandonment
• Post-purchase flows
• Win-back flows
• Segmentation
• A/B testing
This isn't necessarily the main responsibility of the role, but strong Klaviyo experience will make you a much stronger candidate.
7. The Person We Are Looking For
This part is extremely important.
We want someone who is:
• Highly intelligent
• Extremely thorough
• Detail-oriented
• Reliable
• Organised
• Creative
• Commercially minded
• Good at solving problems
• Comfortable researching things they don't know
• Confident making sensible decisions
• Able to recognise when something doesn't look right
• Able to check their own work
• Comfortable taking ownership
• Able to work without constant supervision
We are NOT looking for someone who needs instructions for every small task.
We will train you on our company, products and systems. However, once you understand the business, we expect you to think independently. If you receive a product and something doesn't make sense, we expect you to investigate it.
If a price looks wrong, we expect you to notice. If product fitment information contradicts itself, we expect you to notice.
If an image doesn't look professional, we expect you to fix it. If a product description isn't convincing, we expect you to improve it. We expect you to check your own work before asking someone else to check it.
What Would Make You an Exceptional Candidate?
Someone we can send:
Supplier information + photos + specifications + product cost
and simply say:
“Get this ready for sale.”
You can then independently:
Research → understand → edit images → write content → identify selling points → create the product → price it → categorise it → optimise it → publish it → list it on marketplaces → check everything → tell us it's ready.
If that sounds like you, we want to hear from you.
