JOB OVERVIEW

Hi! :)

I’m looking for a video editor with a strong visual eye to help me create YouTube videos about skincare and the human body.

I’d like to start with one paid test video of around 7 minutes. If we work well together, I’d like this to become an ongoing collaboration.

What I’m looking for

What matters most to me is visual taste and pacing.

I’m not looking for very complex editing or advanced motion graphics. I want someone who understands the clean, aesthetic style of skincare/beauty content and knows how to make a video feel polished and visually engaging.

Most of the editing will be relatively simple: combining images, clips, text and compositions in a visually interesting way.

There may also occasionally be some simple explanatory animations when they help communicate an idea, similar to some of the animation styles in this reference:

But I’m not looking for this level of animation throughout the entire video.

I will provide

* The full script
* The final voiceover
* Images, clips and visual assets
* Access to Canva with existing designs and assets
* Clear references for the visual style

Your role

You’ll take these materials and turn them into a polished YouTube video, choosing how to visually present each part of the narration and keeping a good rhythm throughout.

This may include:

* Choosing and timing the right visuals
* Creating aesthetic image/product compositions
* Creating simple compositions in Canva
* Simple Canva animations
* Cards or elements appearing on screen
* Typography and text layouts
* Clean cuts and transitions
* Occasional simple explanatory animations

You don’t need to create complex motion graphics. Good visual judgment is much more important to me than advanced technical effects.

Experience specifically in skincare is not required, but an interest in skincare, beauty, fashion, lifestyle or aesthetic content is a big plus.

Spanish is a plus, but not required.
