JOB OVERVIEW

What You'll Do

Build, customize, and maintain Shopify themes across multiple storefronts (Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Build custom landing pages, product pages, and promotional pages that convert
Install, configure, and troubleshoot Shopify apps — and know when a custom solution beats another app subscription
Set up and maintain subscription flows, bundles, upsells, and discount logic
Improve site speed and Core Web Vitals
Fix bugs quickly — broken carts and checkout errors are drop-everything priorities
Integrate third-party tools: Klaviyo, GA4, Meta Pixel, Google Merchant Center, reviews apps, shipping and fulfillment platforms
Manage product data, collections, metafields, and bulk imports
Handle QA and testing across desktop and mobile before anything goes live
Document what you build so the next person isn't guessing

Required

3+ years of hands-on Shopify development (please tell us which stores you've worked on)
Strong Shopify Liquid skills — this is non-negotiable
Solid HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with Shopify Plus and/or headless setups is a plus
Familiarity with Shopify APIs, webhooks, and custom app development
Experience with subscription platforms (Recharge, Skio, or similar)
Git and version control
Excellent written English — you'll be communicating async with a US team
Reliable internet and a computer that can handle real dev work
Able to work independently and communicate proactively when you're blocked

Nice to Have

Conversion rate optimization and A/B testing experience
Klaviyo email template development
Basic design skills (Figma, Canva)
React or Node.js
Experience managing multiple stores at once
