PRODUCT RESEARCHER

Introduction

We are a small but growing eCommerce team looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career with the company. As the business continues to expand, strong performers may have opportunities for increased pay, additional responsibilities, and advancement into more senior roles.

No prior Amazon experience is necessary. We provide a 2-day structured paid onboarding program followed by hands-on paid training and coaching with our experienced sourcing team throughout your first week.

You will be paid for all training time. We do not expect you to know everything immediately. We are looking for someone who can learn quickly, follow instructions, think carefully, accept feedback, and continue improving over time.

Role Overview

The Product Researcher plays an important role in our business. Your primary responsibility will be finding products from legitimate online retailers that may be profitable to resell through our eCommerce marketplaces.

Product decisions are based on factors such as profitability, return on investment, sales history, price stability, competition, demand, and overall risk.

Training, software, and guidance will be provided.

Duties and Responsibilities

Research products from legitimate online retail websites that may be profitable to resell on Amazon.
Accurately match retailer products with the correct Amazon listings, including brand, model, color, size, pack count, and variation.
Analyze products using Keepa and SellerAmp SAS after training.
Evaluate profitability, ROI, sales history, competition, price trends, and product demand.
Search sale, clearance, promotional, and restock opportunities across online retailers.
Monitor previously sourced products for restocks and new buying opportunities.
Maintain organized sourcing spreadsheets and accurately record product information, supplier links, costs, notes, coupons, and cashback when applicable.
Learn new sourcing methods, retailers, brands, and product categories over time.
Communicate regularly with the team regarding strong opportunities, issues, or questions.
As you gain experience, you may learn additional marketplaces, purchasing analysis, inventory planning, Amazon Seller Central tasks, and other areas of the business.
Assist with basic eCommerce administrative tasks when needed after training.
Undertake other eCommerce-related responsibilities as the role develops.

Requirements / Competencies

Strong online research skills.
Analytical and problem-solving ability.
Strong attention to detail, especially when comparing similar products and variations; start your application subject/title with a color you like.
Comfortable using Google Workspace, spreadsheets, messaging applications, and video meetings.
Strong written and spoken English communication.
Good planning, organization, and time-management skills.
Reliable attendance and timely communication if you are unable to work your scheduled hours.

Ability to work independently once properly trained while also collaborating with the team.

Required Tools

Desktop or laptop with a modern multi-core processor equivalent to an Intel i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 or better.
8 GB RAM minimum; 16 GB preferred.
Stable internet connection of at least 25 Mbps.
Access to a backup internet connection such as a mobile hotspot or pocket Wi-Fi.
Noise-canceling headphones.
Web camera.
Google account for Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Meet.
Quiet and professional workstation.

Offer

Full-time, long-term career opportunity.
Starting salary: PHP 22,500–25,000 per month, payable twice a month.
Starting pay will depend on the applicant's test performance, interview, skills, and experience.
Additional performance-based bonuses are available.

Training is completed within normal paid work hours. Employees are not expected to work unpaid overtime to finish training materials.
