JOB OVERVIEW

# WooCommerce Product Merchandising Assistant

We are looking for an experienced WooCommerce Product Merchandising Assistant based in the Philippines to help organize and link related products on our e-commerce website.

This position requires prior hands-on experience working in the backend of WordPress and WooCommerce. You must also have previous experience in e-commerce marketing, product merchandising, cross-selling, upselling, or managing related products.

## Primary Responsibilities

Your main responsibility will be setting up “Frequently Bought Together” product recommendations within our WooCommerce website.

We will provide you with a Google Drive spreadsheet identifying which products should be linked together. You will:

* Review the product combinations provided in the spreadsheet.
* Locate the correct products in the WordPress/WooCommerce backend.
* Accurately link the designated frequently bought together products.
* Verify product names, SKUs, sizes, variations, and other relevant information.
* Confirm that every product combination matches the spreadsheet.
* Track your completed work and update the spreadsheet.
* Review the completed product combinations with our team.
* Make any necessary corrections before the recommendations are published.
* Help identify missing products, incorrect links, duplicate products, or combinations that do not make sense.
* Maintain consistent and accurate merchandising throughout the website.

You will not be expected to d ---------- all the product combinations yourself. We will provide clear instructions and a spreadsheet showing which products should be linked. However, we want someone with enough e-commerce merchandising experience to recognize potential mistakes and make useful recommendations.

## Required Experience

Applicants must have:

* Prior hands-on experience with WooCommerce.
* Prior experience working in the WordPress backend.
* Experience linking related products, frequently bought together products, upsells, or cross-sells.
* Previous experience in e-commerce marketing or product merchandising.
* Experience working with products, SKUs, variations, and categories.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Experience using Google Sheets or Google Drive.
* Good written and spoken English.
* The ability to follow detailed instructions and complete repetitive work accurately.
* Reliable internet access and dependable communication.

## Preferred Qualifications

The following experience is helpful but not required:

* Experience merchandising apparel, military products, outdoor equipment, or websites with a large product catalog.
* Experience with WooCommerce frequently bought together plugins.
* Experience creating product bundles or improving average order value.
* Basic knowledge of conversion optimization and online shopping behavior.
* Experience working with U.S.-based e-commerce companies.

## What We Are Looking For

The right person will be:

* Extremely accurate and detail-oriented.
* Comfortable working with a large product catalog.
* Able to distinguish between similar products, sizes, colors, and variations.
* Dependable and consistent.
* Comfortable asking questions when instructions or product combinations are unclear.
* Able to identify and report mistakes instead of guessing.
* Interested in a potentially long-term working relationship.

Accuracy is more important than speed. Linking the wrong products can create a poor customer experience, so every product combination must be carefully verified.

## Application Instructions

To apply, please answer the following questions:

1. How many years of experience do you have working with WordPress and WooCommerce?
2. Describe the WooCommerce work you have completed in previous positions.
3. Have you previously set up frequently bought together products, related products, cross-sells, upsells, or product bundles? Please explain.
4. What experience do you have with e-commerce marketing or product merchandising?
5. Which WooCommerce plugins or product merchandising tools have you used?
6. Have you worked with products containing multiple sizes, colors, variations, or SKUs?
7. What steps would you take to make sure the products you link match the spreadsheet accurately?

Please begin your application with the words **“WooCommerce Merchandising”** so we know you carefully read the entire job description.
