JOB OVERVIEW

Job Title: Shopify Catalogue & On-Page SEO Manager
• Type: Freelance / Contractor (Remote)
• Hours: 20–40 hours per week (Flexible hours). It will start with 30-40 hours per week and may go down to 20 hours per week eventually.
• Location: 100% Remote
• Company: Established UK-based eCommerce company (Operating since 2007)
• Salary: $7-$9 per hour

⚠️ Mandatory Requirements (Do Not Apply If You Do Not Meet These)
• 2+ years of hands-on Shopify experience (Product listings, theme updates, catalogue troubleshooting).
• Proven experience building high-converting landing pages using Zipify Pages (or equivalent page builders apps on shopify).
• Solid On-Page SEO knowledge (Keyword research via Ubersuggest or similar tools, meta tags, image alt text, and URL optimization).
• Willingness to complete a live, screen-share technical skill assessment via video call during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities
• Catalogue Management: Build, upload, update, and manage product listings on our Shopify store.
• Page Building: Create visually engaging, optimized product pages using the Zipify Pages app.
• On-Page SEO: Optimize new and existing product pages for organic search performance.
• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and fix catalogue or listing errors efficiently.
• Basic Asset Prep: Perform minor image edits using Canva (our in-house design team provides main brand assets).

Nice-to-Have Skills
• Familiarity with lead generation tools (e.g., OptinMonster).
• Basic understanding of email marketing tools (e.g., Klaviyo).
• General exposure to Google Shopping Ads or Meta (Facebook) Ads.
