JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Structural Revit / CAD Drafter based in the Philippines to support Australian structural engineering projects.

This is not an entry-level drafting role and is not suitable for candidates whose experience is mainly architectural drafting, residential houses, or simple 2D CAD production.

The successful candidate must have:

Minimum 3 years of direct structural drafting experience on multi-storey or high-rise buildings
Proven experience working on Australian structural engineering projects
Strong hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit Structure
Strong AutoCAD structural drafting capability
Practical experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360
Experience producing construction documentation for reinforced concrete buildings
Ability to work independently from engineers' mark-ups, sketches, calculations and design instructions
Good understanding of Australian structural documentation standards and drawing conventions
Ability to coordinate structural models with architectural and services models
Preference will be given to candidates who have worked directly for Australian structural engineering consultancies or outsourcing/BIM companies servicing Australian engineering firms.

Candidates must be able to provide the actual names of Australian projects and companies/consultancies they have worked for or supported. Generic statements such as "worked on Australian projects" will not be sufficient.

Key Responsibilities

The Structural Revit / CAD Drafter will be responsible for producing and maintaining structural models and construction documentation for Australian projects including:

Reinforced concrete apartment buildings
Class 2 residential developments
Mixed-use developments
Multi-storey commercial buildings
High-rise residential towers
Basement structures
Podium structures
Transfer structures
Post-tensioned and reinforced concrete floor systems
Concrete and structural steel elements where required
The role will involve both Revit modelling and detailed structural documentation, rather than modelling for visualisation purposes only.

Detailed Revit Skills Required

Candidates must demonstrate strong working knowledge of Revit Structure, including the following.

Whether they produced construction documentation themselves
Whether they worked directly with Australian engineers
Example:

Project: ABC Residences, Parramatta NSW
Building: 28-storey reinforced concrete residential tower + 4 basement levels
Consultant: XYZ Structural Engineers
Role: Structural Revit Drafter
Responsibilities: Structural modelling, GA plans, slab plans, beam layouts, column/wall layouts, sections and coordination using BIM 360.

Candidates unable to provide specific project examples may not progress to interview.

Minimum Experience

Applicants should have:

Minimum 3 years structural Revit experience
Minimum 3 years experience working on multi-storey/high-rise projects
Demonstrated Australian project experience
Strong reinforced concrete documentation experience
Advanced Revit Structure skills
Strong AutoCAD skills
BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud experience
Experience working from engineering mark-ups
Experience coordinating with architects
