About CrucialPoint CrucialPoint Agency is a precision retention marketing agency trusted by 7-, 8-, and 9-figure D2C brands. We specialize in email, SMS, loyalty, and lifecycle marketing. We move fast, hold ourselves to a high bar, and our team is lean by design.
The Role We’re looking for an Email Marketing Specialist who can do both sides of email: write it and build it. You’ll craft high-converting copy for our D2C clients (flows, campaigns, sequences) and handle the hands-on execution of building, testing, and deploying those emails inside the ESP. This is an end-to-end role for someone who’s equally comfortable with a blank page and a broken automation. Not a job for someone who needs hand-holding.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Write email copy (flows, campaigns, and promotional sends) for D2C brands, adapting voice and tone across multiple brand identities
- Build, test, and deploy campaigns: newsletters, automated sequences, promos, and transactional emails
- Implement segmentation, personalization, and dynamic content to improve relevance and engagement
- Manage subscriber lists, imports, tagging, and database hygiene to protect deliverability and compliance
- Run A/B tests on subject lines, copy, and design, and optimize based on performance data
- Ensure every email is mobile-responsive, on-brand, and accessible
- Monitor deliverability and troubleshoot rendering or inbox-placement issues
- Collaborate with strategists and designers to bring emails to life
- Track campaign performance and deliver reports with clear recommendations
Must Have
- Solid, professional English, both written and spoken
- 3+ years of email marketing experience for D2C / US-based brands, spanning both copywriting and hands-on execution (with results to show for it)
- Proficiency in an ESP such as Klaviyo, Attentive, Braze, Sendlane, or similar
- Strong HTML/CSS for email coding and troubleshooting
- Experience with marketing automation, segmentation, and personalization
- Knowledge of deliverability best practices and compliance (CAN-SPAM, GDPR)
- Ability to work at least 4 hours within US Mountain Time business hours daily
- Self-starter mentality: scrappy, resourceful, able to run with minimal direction
Good to Have (Not Required)
- Hands-on Klaviyo experience specifically
- CRM systems, integrations, or ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Salesforce)
