JOB OVERVIEW

DiamondsByMe is an international fine jewellery brand specialising in custom-made engagement rings, wedding rings and personalised jewellery.

We are looking for an independent Video Editor who can turn raw footage into high-performing short-form video content for Meta advertising and social media.

You will work with different types of footage, including product videos, atelier footage and UGC. In many cases, you will receive multiple raw video clips together with a reference video, script or briefing, and your job is to turn these into one polished, engaging video.

We are looking for someone who can:

* Edit multiple raw video clips into one cohesive, engaging video
* Recreate the style, pacing and structure of a provided reference video or briefing
* Edit both product-focused videos and UGC-style content
* Add subtitles and on-screen text in a clean, professional way
* Work from a provided script and match visuals to the script
* Select and add suitable music and sound effects
* Choose strong hooks and maintain attention throughout the video
* Edit specifically for Meta Ads with an understanding of short-form performance content and safety margin
* Deliver different versions, formats or variations when required
* Work independently and consistently across multiple videos

The majority of the content will be used for paid Meta campaigns, so we are not simply looking for someone who can make a video look beautiful. You should understand pacing, hooks and ad performance, while maintaining the premium positioning of DiamondsByMe.

Experience with Meta advertising, UGC editing, jewellery, luxury or lifestyle brands is a strong advantage.

You should be comfortable working from both detailed briefings and example videos. Attention to detail is important: subtitles, timing, music, product presentation and brand consistency all need to feel polished.

This is intended to be an ongoing freelance collaboration, with multiple videos to edit on a regular basis.

To apply

Start your application with the word “VIDEO EDITING DBM” and include:

1. 3–5 examples of Meta ads, UGC or product videos you have edited
2. Which editing software you use
3. Your usual turnaround time for a 15–30 second video
4. Your **rate per video** or hourly rate

Applications without the requested word and relevant video examples will not be considered.

Lastly: Would you like the role positioned as freelance per video, fixed monthly hours, or either?
