JOB OVERVIEW

The Beauty Cartel Au is looking for a talented and creatively driven Graphic Designer to help bring our campaigns, products and online presence to life.

We are an Australian beauty supply and education brand specialising in professional lash, nail and beauty products. Our brand is bold, feminine, fun and instantly recognisable, and we are looking for someone who can build upon this identity while creating designs that are both visually impressive and commercially effective.

This role will include designing:

• Meta advertising creatives for Facebook and Instagram
• Website banners and promotional graphics
• Product launch campaigns
• Social media graphics and carousels
• Email campaign graphics
• Product packaging, labels and product design concepts
• Sale and seasonal campaign assets
• Graphics resized across multiple digital platforms

We are looking for someone who:

• Is highly skilled in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Affinity, Canva or similar professional design software
• Has strong typography, layout, colour and visual hierarchy skills
• Can professionally edit, retouch and manipulate product photography
• Understands how to create Meta ad creatives that capture attention and encourage conversions
• Can follow established brand guidelines while bringing fresh creative ideas
• Has experience designing for e-commerce, beauty, fashion or lifestyle brands
• Can create website banners that work across both desktop and mobile
• Has experience with product packaging, labels or product mockups
• Is organised, reliable and able to meet agreed deadlines
• Can take feedback and confidently revise their work
• Pays close attention to spelling, sizing, spacing and small design details

Experience within the beauty industry is highly valued, but an exceptional portfolio and strong understanding of our target audience are more important.

After reviewing our Instagram and website, briefly explain what you believe makes The Beauty Cartel Au visually distinctive and what opportunities you see for strengthening our campaign graphics.
Submit one original Meta advertisement concept showing how you would promote one of our existing products. You may choose any product currently available on our website.

Your concept should include:

• One static Meta feed advertisement in a 4:5 format
• A strong campaign headline or hook
• Clear product positioning
• A call to action
• A short explanation of your creative direction and why you believe it would appeal to our target customer

Watermarked or low-resolution concepts are accepted. This initial concept is for recruitment assessment only and will not be published or used commercially without payment and permission.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to complete a paid trial project. The trial will help us assess your ability to interpret a brief, meet deadlines, provide editable source files and respond to feedback.
