JOB OVERVIEW

We're hiring a Lead Content Strategist to own our social media creative from the ground up. This industry runs on information — and we sit on more of it than anyone. We need someone who knows how to turn that into content that stops a scroll: someone who can dig into our database, track what's happening across music, sports, film, and digital talent, and consistently find the angles, stories, and hot takes that make people pay attention.

What You'll Do:
- Generate a consistent pipeline of content ideas — data stories pulled from our database, news-driven posts, recurring series, hot takes, infographics, agency breakdowns — that give industry insiders something to react to
- Write clear, detailed creative briefs for our design team so concepts are executed exactly as envisioned, without back-and-forth
- Write all copy — captions, on-graphic text, hooks, headlines — in a sharp, authoritative voice that resonates with an industry-professional audience
- Build and manage the content calendar, balancing planned editorial with fast-turnaround responses to breaking industry news
- Develop new content formats and series that keep the feed fresh and build habitual engagement
- Think constantly about what sparks conversation — the angle that surprises, the ranking people will dispute, the comparison that forces an opinion
- Track what's working and use those insights to evolve the strategy

What We're Looking For:
- 3–5 years of experience in content strategy, social media, or editorial — ideally in entertainment, sports, music, or media
- Exceptional English writing skills — you write sharp, punchy, platform-native copy with a clear voice. This is non-negotiable
- Strong editorial instincts — you can look at a dataset or a news story and immediately see the angle that will generate conversation
- Experience briefing creative teams — you know how to translate an idea into a clear, actionable direction for a designer
- Self-directed and organized — you can manage a content calendar, meet deadlines, and move fast when a news moment hits
- A portfolio or examples that show your ideas and writing, not just aesthetics
