JOB OVERVIEW

We’re Hiring: Utility Billing Benchmarking & Reconciliation Analyst

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional with experience reviewing commercial utility bills and identifying billing errors, discrepancies, and potential overcharges.

Full-Time Role
Rate: $6–$7 USD/hour
Remote

What You’ll Do:
• Review electric, gas & water utility bills
• Extract and organize billing data in Google Sheets
• Reconcile charges and verify billing accuracy
• Benchmark usage and costs
• Identify overcharges, incorrect rates & unusual billing patterns
• Calculate potential dollars owed
• Perform final quality checks

What We’re Looking For:
✓ Experience analyzing commercial utility bills
✓ Strong Google Sheets / Excel skills
✓ Financial reconciliation & variance analysis experience
✓ Strong analytical and mathematical skills
✓ Excellent attention to detail
✓ Able to work independently and meet deadlines

Bonus: Utility/energy auditing, forensic billing, tariff/rate schedule, or AI data extraction experience.
