JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role :
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Vehicle Previewer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for previewing auction vehicles and ensuring the correct parts are selected with the proper condition, interchange, and pricing. You’ll be a key player in the early stages of our vehicle processing operation, analyzing damage, selecting viable parts, and inputting accurate pricing through our bid software.
This is a critical position that supports our purchasing strategy and directly impacts the quality and value of our inventory.

Key Responsibilities? :
Analyze vehicle damage from auction listings
Select accurate part conditions and interchanges
Price vehicle parts using internal bid software
Maintain up-to-date pricing across systems
Look up and confirm vehicle mileage
Continuously seek improvement in processes and efficiency

What We’re Looking For? :
We are specifically looking for candidates with previous vehicle previewing experience. Experience previewing vehicles for automotive salvage yards, auto auctions, dismantlers, or parts operations is highly valued.

Strong knowledge of vehicles and automotive parts
Previous vehicle previewing experience
Experience with vehicle or parts pricing
Ability to assess vehicle damage and understand its implications
Comfortable working long hours on a computer
Proficient in using computers and software systems
Skilled in evaluating parts quality and selecting proper interchanges
Able to work independently, efficiently, and accurately
At least 2 years of automotive industry experience
Strong automotive knowledge
