AMOR Cladding is a fast-growing, dynamic timber cladding supplier based in South Petherton, Somerset, and part of the Hewins Group. Following our acquisition of the NORclad brand, we're expanding our team and looking for an Operations and Supply Chain Coordinator to take ownership of orders from confirmation through to delivery and invoicing. This role reports to our Commercial Director and can be based on-site, hybrid or fully remote.
This is a varied, hands-on role at the centre of the business. No two days look the same — you'll be coordinating customers, suppliers, hauliers and production schedules, and keeping our finance and ERP records straight, all in a small team where everyone pitches in.
What you'll be doing
• Owning sales orders end-to-end — from confirming details with the customer to final invoicing.
• Checking logistics requirements and arranging delivery to site.
• Raising purchase orders and placing material orders with our suppliers.
• Managing production schedules, especially on orders involving multiple suppliers.
• Tracking payments and invoicing customers once goods are delivered.
• Maintaining our purchase ledger and keeping records accurate on Odoo, our ERP system.
What we're looking for
• Experience coordinating orders, logistics or projects — ideally in supply chain, manufacturing, construction materials or distribution.
• Excellent organisation and the ability to juggle multiple live orders at once.
• A confident communicator, happy dealing directly with customers and suppliers.
• Comfortable with purchase orders, invoicing and basic reconciliation.
• A proactive problem-solver who thrives on ownership and doesn't need a narrow job description.
• ERP experience is a bonus (Odoo especially) — but not essential; we'll train the right person.
Why join AMOR
• A genuinely varied role where your work is visible and makes a real difference.
• A small, supportive team at a business that's growing fast.
• Real opportunity to progress as the company grows and new opportunities open up — this is a business on the way up, not a fixed org chart.
• Flexible working — on-site, hybrid or remote.
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
