JOB OVERVIEW

Remote Clipping / Clipper
Type: Remote / Freelance
Compensation: $7/hr
Hours: Flexible
About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented virtual clipper to find the best clips from our streamers. Clippers will be assigned specific creators to watch at the start, but will be expected to develop enough understanding of the app and the creators to take on genres on their own.
Strong candidates are people who already understand clipping culture and can quickly judge when a moment would be great for an edit.
What You'll Do
Go through our VOD player to scrub through our streamers' live streams
Find the best moments to clip
Clip and upload the clip to a designated Google Drive
Go back to watching more live streams
Once you're done, log your hours to get paid out
Clip Criteria (What We're Looking For)
Funny Moments: Any time something funny happens or is said
Battling Moments: Any key moments during a battle between creators
Novel Moments: If a creator reveals something new, whether that's new music, etc.
Gaming Moments: Clips of our gaming creators doing anything notable in whatever game they're streaming
TBD: It's honestly up to you — anything you think we can successfully use for social media content
Requirements
Active, personal familiarity with clipping content and short-form video (different styles of content)
Strong written English for clear, organized communication
Reliable internet connection; hours are flexible
Comfortable using ----------
Prior experience in social media, clipping, and/or editing is a plus
