JOB OVERVIEW

XP Strategy runs Amazon and marketplace advertising for seven- and eight-figure sellers in the US and internationally. We handle PPC, creative, catalog, and marketplace expansion across Amazon, Walmart, Target, and TikTok. As an Amazon Ads Verified Partner, we work hands-on in AMC and DSP, and we run advertising in Walmart Connect and Target Plus. The team is small, senior, and fully distributed, and we are growing.

You run a portfolio of client brands end to end. You set each brand's strategy, you are the client's point of contact in both directions, and whether the targets get hit is on you. The job is as much about the relationship as the numbers: you set expectations early, raise problems before the client does, and keep your composure when things go sideways.

What we're looking for:
- Fluent written and spoken English. Client communication is the core of this role, and it is the first thing we screen for. If that is not a strength, this position is not for you.
- 3+ years of client-facing experience at an Amazon or ecommerce agency, running several brands at once, including seven- and eight-figure sellers
- Strong command of Amazon PPC: campaign types, match types, ranking, branded vs non-branded, and audience advertising, enough to challenge a specialist's plan and explain the trade-off to a brand owner
- Hands-on Amazon account management: product health, listing optimization, competitor tracking, pricing, reviews, inventory, and launches
- Seller Central fluency: you can tell an ads problem from an account-health problem
- A track record of growing accounts, not just maintaining them
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets. You can build a report, read it, and turn it into a recommendation
- Experience directing cross-functional teams without direct authority
- The composure to handle a hard conversation professionally: deliver bad news early and hold a realistic line
- Comfortable running several accounts at once without dropping details, with ClickUp, Asana, or a similar tool in daily use
- DSP, Walmart, or Target retail media experience is a plus, as is running quarterly business reviews

Responsibilities:
- Client relationship. Set concrete targets with each client (ACoS, TACoS, revenue, launch milestones) and revisit them as often as the account needs. Specialists execute; you steer.
- Onboarding. Run onboarding end to end: kickoff, access, expectations, and baselines inside the first 30 days.
- Quality control. Nothing reaches a client until you have checked it against the target it was meant to move.
- Internal direction. Set priorities for the PPC, creative, and catalog teams, and keep everyone clear on what matters for each account.
- Communication and retention. Keep a steady rhythm of written updates and report calls, framed in revenue and profitability rather than ad metrics alone. Come to every call with an agenda and next steps, watch for early warning signs, and handle unhappy clients directly.
- Growth. Spot the next opportunity for each brand and bring it as a worked-up proposal. Keep ClickUp current.

What success looks like after a year:
- Your clients are still your clients, and they would take a reference call for us.
- Specialists know what matters on each account without being asked twice, and nothing has gone to a client that embarrassed us.
- Your accounts have grown, whether through a new marketplace, more brands, or expanded scope.

Working terms:
- Fully remote, on a distributed team
- US Eastern hours, 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
- Paid time off
- Direct access to leadership, with influence over how accounts are run
- Exposure to seven- and eight-figure brands across Amazon, Walmart and Target
- Pay is commensurate with experience
