YouTube Scriptwriter — LongTerm Skilled Writer for Faceless Channels

And I have to state upfront, this job isn't for everyone. I'm looking for a very unique person to fill this job.

I am putting together a small, tight-knit team, and the scriptwriter (that's you!) is a key seat on it. I'm looking for that special person who can become a superstar on my team.

Someone hard-working, passionate, who would love their job and loves writing videos that evoke emotion and keep people watching to the very end. Someone who can help me take my YouTube channels to the next level.

I am looking for an A-player, who can work full time, long term, and can commit and dedicate fully to ensure the success of the business.

Here's just some of the criteria that this person would meet:

Has their own computer and high-speed Internet connection
Speaks, Reads, and Writes excellent English
Can work from home without distractions
Is always learning and improving his/her skills
Has a Wise/PayPal account
Has access to the paid Claude plan ($20/month Claude Pro) — or is willing to get it before starting. Our entire scriptwriting system runs on it.
Is willing to learn new skills and can easily be trained in other skills
Can work full-time (30–40 hours per week)

HOW WE WORK — READ THIS BEFORE APPLYING:

We write with a specific system that mixes AI with your own skill. You will not be writing from a blank page, and you will not be pasting raw AI output either. I provide a defined scriptwriting system, a series of training videos, and clear instructions. You bring the judgment, the hooks, and the voice. If you think "AI writes it for me," this isn't the role. If you think "AI is a tool I drive," we'll get along.

TASKS YOU WILL TAKE CARE OF:

- Write engaging long-form scripts for faceless YouTube channels (different niches, from tech and science documentary to bird watching)
- Hook the viewer in the first 15–30 seconds and earn their attention into the video
- Hold attention across the whole video using open loops, STR (situation–tension–resolution), and curiosity gaps — opening tension early and paying it off later so the viewer can't leave
- Write in each channel's established voice rather than imposing your own
- Work with the AI to pull the facts and details the script needs
- Take a title and turn it into a finished, ready-to-record script
- Iterate on feedback until the voice is locked
- Meet script deadlines so the production pipeline never stalls
- Collaborate with me on content ideas and creative direction

You'll start on one channel first, then you'll write across others.

I will need you to work 6–8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. You can make your own hours.

SKILLS NEEDED FOR THIS JOB:

Proven long-form YouTube scriptwriting experience — REQUIRED
Deep understanding of viewer retention: hooks, open loops, STR, curiosity gaps — REQUIRED
Writing for spoken narration, not blog/article/SEO copy — REQUIRED
Very comfortable working with AI/LLM platforms (Claude, ChatGPT, and others) — you know how to prompt the AI to get exactly what you want out of it
Excellent written English and a strong storytelling instinct
Sharp attention to detail
Fast learner — you can pick up new tools quickly and put them to use right away
Understanding of YouTube as a platform — what makes people click and stay
Creative thinking and coming up with great hooks
Outside-the-box thinking
Ability to take initiative and self-accountability
Positive mindset
Good communication skills
Self-motivated and able to adhere to deadlines
Problem solver and able to get the job done without supervision
Willingness to go above and beyond the tasks they are given
A passion for constant self-improvement and a desire to over-deliver

I'm not looking for just another writer, I'm looking for a teammate who will work side by side with me and help me grow my YouTube channels.

This role starts as a scriptwriting seat, but for the right person it grows into a department manager / team lead position — running a small team of writers under you as we scale. You will have the opportunity to be promoted and achieve a higher position on my team, with a bigger salary, all while working from home.

PERFORMANCE-BASED COMPENSATION:

Starting budget is around $500/month, and your salary will grow based on performance! The better our videos perform (views, engagement, revenue), the more money you earn. This means you're directly incentivized to write the best scripts possible.

There are also bonuses which will be awarded according to your performance.

The job is full time and it is an ongoing position, hopefully for as long as possible.
