JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a full-time short-form video editor with real experience creating content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts. Content is in the entrepreneurial and agriculture niche. Personal branding experience is an asset, though not a requirement.

The correct candidate is someone who understands short form content creation - not just videos that look good, but videos that perform well because structure, pacing, and clip selection are understood and executed on.

Our pages have over 450,000 followers/subscribers across platforms.

What We Are Looking For
* Proven short-form social media experience. We want to see actual videos you have edited that generated meaningful views
* Experience in clipping long form videos into short form content.
* Comfortable working with large volumes of content - from organization to identifying clips to structuring a short form video.
* Strong understanding of hooks, retention, clip selection, pacing and viewer attention, particularly for videos under 30 seconds.
* Excellent judgment around tight pacing. Small editing decisions matter in short-form content.
* Ability to identify and recreate proven video styles and formats.
* Up to date on social media trends and able to identify trends that can be adapted to our original content.
* Performance-driven mindset. An editor must monitor the performance of the videos they create. It will be your responsibility to identify what is working and what is not - don’t wait for some else to guide you.
* Ability to follow references closely. If a particular editing style or format is consistently generating millions of views, we do not need it redesigned or given a personal creative touch—we need it recreated accurately.
* Organized, reliable and able to handle consistent full-time content output.
* Independent and can take initiative. You will not always have someone to review and guide you - you must be comfortable taking ownership of the editing, producing final videos that are absent of careless mistakes.
* Comfortable working with content scheduling platforms.

Important
This role is not just about technical editing, often times very basic styles have performed extremely well. Your understanding and intuition on hook and pacing is most important - knowing what to include, what to remove, how long each clip should stay on screen and when not to over-edit matters more than pure technical ability.

* Your expected monthly salary for a full-time remote position.

Candidates who pass the initial screening will be asked to complete a paid editing test using our footage and reference videos.

This is a serious, long-term full-time position. We are willing to pay competitive compensation for someone who can demonstrate strong short-form editing ability and consistently contribute to content performance.
