Ocean Export & Vehicle Export Booking Coordinator – NVOCC

US Global Shipping is looking for an experienced Ocean Export & Vehicle Export Booking Coordinator to join our team.
This is a hands-on position for someone with strong NVOCC/ocean export experience and direct experience exporting vehicles and used auto parts from the United States.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Vehicle export experience is mandatory.
The ideal candidate must have real experience handling:
Exporting cars, trucks, SUVs, and used vehicles from the USA
Exporting used auto parts from the USA
Ocean FCL container bookings for vehicles and auto parts
NVOCC and freight forwarding operations
Booking containers with major shipping lines
Negotiating ocean freight rates with carriers
U.S. vehicle export procedures and regulations
U.S. vehicle export documentation and title requirements
Working with U.S. Customs / CBP and AES/EEI filings
Understanding vehicle export port and terminal requirements
Coordinating vehicle loading, container stuffing, trucking, warehouses, and terminals
Handling export documents for vehicles and auto parts
SHIPPING LINE EXPERIENCE
Experience working directly with major carriers such as:
MSC, Maersk, CMA CGM, Hapag-Lloyd, ONE, Evergreen, COSCO, or ZIM.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Request and manage ocean bookings.
Negotiate rates and compare carrier options.
Follow up on booking confirmations.
Handle booking changes, rollovers, and delays.
Coordinate trucking companies and container pickup/delivery.
Coordinate vehicle and auto-parts loading warehouses.
Manage container stuffing and loading schedules.
Monitor port and terminal cutoffs.
Prepare and verify vehicle export documentation.
Coordinate title/document requirements for vehicle exports.
Coordinate AES/EEI and other export documentation.
Communicate with shipping lines, truckers, warehouses, customers, and overseas agents.
Track shipments from booking through vessel departure.
Provide customers with shipment updates and resolve operational issues.
VERY IMPORTANT
We are not looking for someone with only general logistics experience.
The candidate must have hands-on experience exporting vehicles and/or used auto parts from the United States and understand the related U.S. export procedures, documentation, and regulations.
You must also be comfortable making phone calls and speaking directly with shipping lines, trucking companies, warehouses, customers, and other parties. This is not an email-only position.
You should be able to work independently, manage multiple shipments, negotiate rates, solve problems, and take full ownership of your shipments.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 3 years of NVOCC, freight forwarding, or ocean export experience
Proven U.S. vehicle export experience
Used auto-parts export experience is a strong requirement
Strong carrier booking and rate negotiation experience
Good understanding of container shipping and port cutoffs
Strong English communication skills
Strong follow-up and organizational skills
Comfortable making daily phone calls
Experience with Excel, Google Workspace, carrier portals, and freight software
Reliable internet and quiet work environment
Available to work U.S. Eastern Time
