JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a creative, reliable VA to manage our social media presence for a construction business.

You’ll report directly to our Marketing Analyst and help plan, design, edit, schedule, and improve content across our social channels. This role is ideal for someone with strong visual taste who can turn construction projects, site updates, before-and-afters, and customer stories into polished graphics, short-form videos, carousels, and infographics.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•⁠ ⁠Create branded social media posts, carousels, infographics, and short-form videos
•⁠ ⁠Edit video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts
•⁠ ⁠Turn project photos, job-site footage, before-and-afters, testimonials, and construction tips into engaging content
•⁠ ⁠Plan and schedule content using our content calendar
•⁠ ⁠Write clear, engaging captions and relevant hashtags
•⁠ ⁠Repurpose existing content into multiple social posts
•⁠ ⁠Maintain a consistent visual style and brand voice
•⁠ ⁠Track basic performance metrics and suggest improvements
•⁠ ⁠Stay aware of social media trends and bring fresh content ideas
•⁠ ⁠Report progress, content needs, and performance updates to the Marketing Analyst

REQUIREMENTS:
•⁠ ⁠Proven experience managing social media accounts for a business or personal brand
•⁠ ⁠Strong Canva skills; Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar tools are a plus
•⁠ ⁠Comfortable creating clean, attractive infographics and social graphics
•⁠ ⁠Experience editing short-form videos with captions, hooks, transitions, and music
•⁠ ⁠Strong written English and attention to detail
•⁠ ⁠Organized, responsive, and able to meet deadlines
•⁠ ⁠Able to work independently while taking feedback well

NICE TO HAVE:
•⁠ ⁠Experience creating content for construction, contractors, home services, real estate development, architecture, or related industries
•⁠ ⁠Ability to turn construction project photos, site updates, before-and-afters, safety tips, and customer testimonials into engaging posts
•⁠ ⁠Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Later, Hootsuite, or similar scheduling tools
•⁠ ⁠Basic copywriting and community-management experience
