Compensation and schedule
• Part-time to start: 20–30 hours per week
• Starting rate: $3.50 USD per hour
• 30-day paid probation with written 30/60/90-day reviews
• Opportunity to grow into full-time work and an agency operations manager role
• Long-term compensation can grow toward $3,000 USD per month only if the role expands to independently managing a profitable client portfolio and delivery team; this is a career path, not a guaranteed or immediate salary
• At least three hours of overlap with U.S. Eastern business hours
About the role
Downpour Marketing is an owner-led startup agency for exterior home-service companies. Our initial portfolio includes paver sealing/exterior cleaning, roofing, pressure washing, and gutter companies.
We need a resourceful marketing operations coordinator who can help the founder turn scattered work into a dependable system. This is initially a hands-on support and coordination role—not an equity partnership and not full authority to run the company. You will organize client work, maintain project boards, document SOPs, help test GoHighLevel systems, research and screen specialist contractors, prepare draft client updates, and make sure blocked work is surfaced early.
The right person can earn more responsibility and compensation as the agency gains paying retainer clients and the person demonstrates sound judgment.
Initial responsibilities
• Maintain project boards, owners, due dates, dependencies, and approval queues
• Prepare draft client updates and weekly scorecards for founder review
• Keep raw leads, qualified leads, booked estimates, sold jobs, revenue, and gross profit separate
• Document SOPs, checklists, access inventories, and change logs
• Assist with GoHighLevel pipelines, forms, workflows, calendars, and QA checklists in test or limited-access environments
• Research and pre-screen SEO, paid-media, content, design, website, automation, and CRM specialists
• Schedule interviews and organize candidate evidence; the founder makes all hiring decisions
• Follow up on late or blocked tasks and escalate risks instead of hiding them
Required qualifications
• At least one year supporting a marketing agency, home-service business, or client-delivery team
• Working knowledge of GoHighLevel or a similar CRM
• Strong written and spoken English
• Organized with ClickUp, Asana, Notion, Trello, or a similar system
• Comfortable learning new tools and documenting repeatable processes
• Able to provide one sanitized work sample and two professional references
• Honest about what you know, what you do not know, and when founder approval is required
Strong advantages
• Home-services marketing experience
• GoHighLevel workflows and subaccounts
• Local SEO or Google Business Profile support
• CallRail, Zapier, Make, n8n, GA4, Search Console, or Looker Studio
• Candidate sourcing, contractor coordination, or quality assurance
Trust and access boundaries
• The application and paid test use fictional or redacted data; no live credentials or customer data are provided.
• Initial access is least-privilege through a named account with MFA. Shared owner passwords are never provided.
• The coordinator cannot change ad spend, publish publicly, deploy production changes, hire or commit vendors, promise client deliverables, export customer data, change permissions, or authorize payments without written founder approval.
• Client-facing communication begins as drafts for founder approval.
• Access grows only after references, work samples, paid-test performance, and documented on-the-job judgment are verified.
How to apply
Start your application with STORM VA and answer all six items:
1. What marketing agency or home-service work have you supported, and what did you personally own?
2. Describe one late, broken, or confusing project you helped organize. What did you do and what evidence showed it improved?
3. Describe your hands-on GoHighLevel or CRM experience. Be specific about forms, pipelines, workflows, calendars, or reporting.
4. Explain how you would report this funnel: 47 raw leads, 31 qualified, 14 booked estimates, 6 sold jobs, $28,000 sold revenue, and $19,000 collected revenue.
5. State your desired hourly rate, current commitments, earliest start date, and daily U.S. Eastern-time overlap.
6. Confirm that you are comfortable starting with limited access, written approvals, and a 30-day paid probation.
Include a 2–3 minute video introducing yourself and explaining how you would organize five home-service accounts during your first week. Do not read a generic script.
Paid finalist test
• Estimated time: 2–3 hours
• Fixed payment: $20 USD
• Uses a fictional company and redacted sample data
• Deliverables: a one-week project board, a one-page weekly report, a GoHighLevel lead-flow test checklist, a short risk register, and a recorded walkthrough
• No unpaid spec work and no live-account access
Promotion path
This role can progress from coordinator to full-time operations lead as the agency adds profitable recurring clients. Raises and expanded access require documented delivery quality, reliable communication, clean QA, verified references, and increasing responsibility. Compensation approaching $3,000 USD per month would require independently managing a meaningful profitable client portfolio and delivery team; it is not promised on a fixed timeline.
