JOB OVERVIEW

We are Bebida, a sports and pop-culture media company in New York. We make videos for millions of followers. Now we are building Play Bebida ( ---------- ), a website full of small games. The first game, Pick 5, is live. We want 15 more games on the site by the end of September, and many more after that.

What you will do

- Take a game we already designed and build it as a web game. Most of our games are trivia and puzzle games. We give you the rules, the data, the questions, and the look. You build it.
- Follow our design system. Every game must look like Pick 5 (same colors, same fonts, same theme). We will give you the design files and the code for the shared parts.
- Make every game work well on a phone. Most of our players are on their phones.
- Ship one game per sprint. A sprint is 1-2 weeks. Our lead developer (Mac) writes the tasks on a Trello board. You pick up the next task, build it, and open a pull request.
- Fix bugs in games you built when players find them.
- Post a short status update in our ---------- every work day. 2-3 lines is enough.

What we need from you

- 2+ years building things for the web with JavaScript or TypeScript. React or a similar framework is a plus.
- You use AI coding tools every day (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar). This is not optional. We build fast because we use these tools well.
- You can read a plain-English game design and build it without a long back-and-forth. You ask good questions early, then you go build.
- Git and pull requests are normal for you.
- Good written English. Our team talks in ---------- , in writing.
- You work hard and you like finishing things. We care about this more than your resume.

Nice to have

- You have built a game before (any kind, even small).
- You know sports (NFL, NBA, MLB) or TV, movies, and anime. Our games are about these.
- Experience with Postgres or Redis.
