JOB OVERVIEW

Company: Fresh Fuel Marketing Type: Full time, 40 hours per week Hours: You set your own schedule. Written update in Slack every working day, plus 2 hours of overlap with Toronto time (EST) twice a week for calls Salary: $1,500 to $3,000 USD per month to start, up to $3,000 for someone who is clearly senior. 13th month pay included. About the role

I build things fast. I use AI to get from an idea to something that runs, and I have a stack of internal tools and web apps sitting at about 70 percent done. They work when I use them. They are not finished products.

I need someone to take them the rest of the way.

That means finding what is broken before a user does, d ---------- what actually has to be built before launch and what can wait, cleaning up the parts I rushed, and shipping. You will use AI to do this the same way I do. That is not a shortcut here, it is the job.

This is not a role where you write tickets and wait for a developer. You are in the code. You use Cursor, Claude Code, or whatever you are fastest in, and you make the changes yourself.

What you will do
Take over projects that are partly built and get them to a state I can put in front of real users
Go through what exists, find what is broken, half finished, or held together with tape, and write up what has to happen
D ---------- what ships in v1 and what does not. Push back on me when I want to add things
Write and fix code yourself using AI tools. Front end, back end, whatever the project needs
Test properly before launch. Edge cases, error states, mobile, the things that break in front of a user
Handle deployment and keep environments, keys, and repos in order
Write the small amount of documentation needed so the thing can be maintained
Keep everything visible in Slack so I always know status without asking
What I am looking for
You have shipped software to real users, not just built demos
You are genuinely fast with AI coding tools. Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, Copilot, Replit, whatever. Tell me which and what you built with it
You can read someone else's messy code and figure out what it is doing without asking twenty questions
Comfortable in JavaScript or TypeScript. React, Next.js, Astro, Node, or similar. Familiar with a database like Supabase or Postgres
You can deploy. Vercel, Netlify, Railway, or similar. Git and GitHub are second nature
You have product judgment. You can look at a feature and tell me it is not worth building
You catch bugs. You are the kind of person who tries to break things on purpose
Strong written English. Most of our communication is written
You tell me early when something will slip. I do not need perfect, I need honest
Nice to have
Experience with marketing or ads platforms, APIs, and webhooks
Zapier, Make, or n8n
Notion API
Mobile or PWA experience
You have done this before: inherited a half built thing and gotten it live
Tools we use

Slack, Notion, GitHub, Google Drive, and whatever AI coding tools you are best with.

The first 10 questions you would ask me before writing a single line of code
A one page plan for those six weeks: what you would do in week 1, what you would cut, and what you would consider the minimum bar for launch

I am judging this on the questions more than the plan. Good questions tell me you have done this before.

4. Include links. GitHub, a live product you built, anything I can actually click. If you cannot share code, describe what you built and what your part was.
